Large RV with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath on Lake Michigan shore.
If scenic views and a great location are on your vacation bucket list, this property is for you! Just steps from Lake Michigan, Straitsview RV has so much to offer. Sip your morning coffee or tea while enjoying a unobstructed sunrise, spend the afternoon visiting Mackinaw City or Mackinac Island, and wind down with a campfire in the evening. This listing is a great home base for those who want privacy, but also want to be close to the conveniences of town.
Don't forget to make the short walk to Cecil Bay Trading Post to grab delicious warm doughnuts and ice cream! If you need to grab last minute supplies, like fishing and camping gear, or want to rent bikes or kayaks, this is the place.
Bring your family or friends to explore the surrounding areas and enjoy all the fun Michigan has to offer. This unique listing will be a great place to wind down after an adventure filled day.
This cottage comes equipped with central air and heating, plus all bedding and linens. **However, please note you will need to provide your own bath and beach towels.
*We have opted to offer Damage Insurance at the cost of $55 for your stay in lieu of a refundable security deposit. It will be listed under fees as "Damage Insurance".
*WILDLIFE DISCLAIMER*
Coming to beautiful Northern Michigan includes the possibility of wildlife encounters. We have midges, spiders, mosquitos, occasionally black flies and an assortment of other insects. We spray regularly to keep them at a manageble level but we also don't want to damage the fragile ecosystem here. Note that where there is water, there will be spiders. They are very industrious and can build back a knocked down web within a day!
They are also great for controlling mosquitos and wasps, which we appreciate.
We treasure the wildness of the North and perhaps that is what attracts you.
Consider yourself lucky if you catch a glimpse of any of our other wild neighbors - black bear, wolves, deer, elk, coyote, fox, bobcats, porcupine, skunks, raccoons, eagles, hawks, squirrels, chipmunks and mice as well as a massive variety of birds.
We ask you to consider this before booking one of our cottages or cabins.

This was a very nice quaint place to stay. The lake was beautiful. The RV was immaculate and very cute and cozy.

Great location. Private and quiet. RV was spacious and adequate. We are not a camping family but we loved the idea of being on the water and it didn’t disappoint! The little screen area was perfect for breakfast and light night cards. The master bed was tight quarters but the bed was comfortable. Subsets were spectacular

Beautiful location. The property could use some attention to detail. We had issues with flies, spiders and mice.
