Beautiful Studio in AONB & Kings Nature reserve, plenty of countryside walks,
River Otter 10 minutes walk with Beavers & Otters, coast path and beach 40 minutes walk.
The Studio is in the garden of Rose Cottage but it has its own entrance and courtyard garden with Garden furniture and inside is open plan apart from the bathroom. It is private and not overlooked. The views around the countryside are lovely,
The comfy bed can be 2 x 3 foot single beds or a super king 6 foot wide double. There is a kitchen with electric Oven and Hob and Microwave and Air Fryer, also under counter fridge. all your cooking utensils and crockery are supplied.
The Hot Tub is in the Studio private courtyard, not overlooked and just a few steps from the Studio and you will have sole use,.
East Budleigh is the birthplace of Sir Walter Raleigh and is full of chocolate box thatched cottages, we are between East Budleigh and Otterton, both can be reached on foot in 20 minutes or a couple of minutes in the car.
Its only 2 miles from the sea, or about 45 minutes walk along the River Otter to the small town of Budleigh Salterton with its long promenade and beach with colourful pebbles.
It is a short drive to the Regency seaside town of Sidmouth with its many cafes and independent shops and in the other direction the seaside town of Exmouth with its long sandy beaches.
Only 12 miles away and pre-dating the arrival of the Romans in AD 50, Exeter’s history is rich and long with its unique Underground Passages, free Red Coat Guided Tours, magnificent Cathedral, imposing Roman wall and beautiful Quayside. Exeter is also home to the award-winning Royal Albert Memorial Museum where visitors can explore the city’s 2,000-year history under one roof!
The Cottage is 20 minutes walk from the Otter Estuary Nature Reserve is a 57-acre (230,000 m2) Local area is Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) consisting of tidal mudflats and saltmarsh.

A very well appointed studio room with a very comfortable bed and a great shower.Good, detailed description of the property and the surrounding towns were received prior to travel. Also instructions on how to access the property and use the facilities, if the host was not there on arrival.As it happens, Rosemary, was there when we arrived and she was very welcoming, and showed us around and told us how to use the hot tub and other facilities.The Studio is located on a quiet country lane and is very private. It is in a great location for exploring both the English Riviera Coast, and the Jurassic Coast. There is a large supermarket and numerous mini supermarkets within 5 miles of the property and there are in excess of 30 ( We lost count ) pubs and restaurants within 10 miles.We loved our stay, and will return again soon.
