The only.good thing is the location....

The venue is extremely noisy (they say lively, don't be fooled it's a night club), the manager was not pleasant (trying to upcharge us), the heating in the rooms did not work (it was 15 Celsius in the rooms & we had to switch three times), upon arrive we were told there were no quiet rooms but when we signalled that the rooms were cold we were.promptly.changed to an equally cold but quiet room (prrof that the manager was trying to up harge), overall a bad experience I would not recommend this place to others.

Staff hired by I assume an excellent owner or manager. Every single member we dealt with was outstanding... the room we were given was actually an apartment ..room window backed onto the dart train station bray which for me was greaf as I love trains.. yes it's possibly busy for those wanting silence but with a late bar and nightclub on site we were warned it will be busy... we bring ear plugs everywhere regardless but with our room not directly over the activity it was fine.. Food options were great for lunch dinner breakfast ..surprised there wasn't a pizza option. Very lively but we were not disturbed by any neighbours ..all staff appear to love their job which is definitely down to a good team spirit... if I were to stay again I'd request a room to rear only again... but if your young and with friends it's certainly a great location for a 1 or 2 night break with late bars ,music ect...

Tvs are out dated with no smart option for those that maybe retire early to their rooms and those that don't necessarily drink alot of alcohol... The bar staff rolling empty barrels late at night and empty bottles ect is something that could be curtailed until morning shift arrived and a rubber matted area for those areas would certainly reduce the noise but that's me overthinking how I'd fix it ..

Perfect Christmas stay in Bray!

Very Christmassy, staff and food were top notch!

It’s noisy in the area in the early hours as there are bars and clubs. We knew that before going and didn’t mind! Just something to be aware of!

Will gladly stay here again!

We stayed in an apartment - very spacious. One double bed in a separate room, in the sitting room there were 2 pull out beds. The bathroom was very small but the shower was superb. We didn't have need of the washing machine, but did use the fridge for drinks, the kettle and the tea/coffee provided. Bottles of water were provided and plenty of towels. The hotel, bar and dining areas were decorated beautifully for Christmas, very cosy. We had breakfast both days as well as dinner the first night - the food was excellent. All the staff were very friendly. Great location for a walk along the seafront in the mornings and close to the train station. We stayed during the week so there was no noise from the bar or surrounding bars in the evenings.

The noise from trains - HOWEVER, this didn't actually bother us personally as we knew we were close to the train tracks so it's to be expected. The corridors leading to the rooms are a bit run down and could probably do with freshening up, compared to the rest of the hotel. The rooms are very clean and well maintained though!

The location of the lift from the ground floor is outside and up an alleyway. We arrived in the dark so not a good location for the lift. The indoor lift was up 2 flights of steps so not recommended for anyone with mobility concerns.

Great night stay

Room was big enough and loved the double door idea inside so as to block out the noise. We did hear the nighclub but i expect that and we were some of the late ones. The revamp of the piano bar and conservatory area is exceptional 👌 and the toilets upstairs ! The food was fabulous and the staff were very friendly and on top of the service. We will be back again

We were fully informed that this was a lively place with music till very late the room we had was wonderful it suited us both it was very clean and had a wet room shower. The staff were brilliant and the food was excellent.

There was nothing to change they had told us about the hotel so we knew that it was going to be noisy busy till late.but they put us in a great room around the back that was good for us so they were very helpful

The positives of this hotel easily outweigh the negatives - would recommend

Fantastic seafront location, lovely staff, huge room with lovely views, good food, very efficient

The hotel did warn that they had a disco every Saturday which was noisy. However, unfortunately our room was directly above the disco & didn’t finish until 02.45. As a consequence, we didn’t get much sleep. Also the parking is a bit of a nightmare - we had to drive round for quite some time to finally secure a spot near the hotel.

Great place, nice hotel

The accommodation was very good, the apartment was spacious, the kitchen well equipped, everything was clean. The location is superb, the resort is very beautiful, clean, quiet. Even though there were parties on the weekend, it was not heard in our room. There is a bus or train that connects to Dublin and also runs at night and that was very helpfull.

From the minute we arrived at reception Lynsey was absolutely fantastic. We also met Laura at this time and she was so welcoming and made sure we were taken care of in the bar. I have been to the Martello many times but this was a first for the friends I brought this time and they were so impressed and will be back for sure. Dinner and Breakfast was fab too!

Considering the location and restaurant I would stay again

The location is amazing located right on the strand of beach. Restaurant had excellent food and we ate both dinner and breakfast there.

Carpet needs replacement, very hot in unit and fans did not work. Noisy compressor on the roof outside our window ran on and off all night.

Great location on bray seafront. Spacious apartment room on the second floor at the back of the building. Staff were very friendly and food and drinks were fantastic. Deserves more than 2*

The only noise issue we had (apartment 325) was the dart going by. This didn’t really bother us though. The area itself is very lively so maybe not suitable if you’re after a relaxing break. But we loved the buzz
