Excellent cottage with thoughtful owners.

Corve Cottage is a lovely, warm, comfortable property where the owners have thought of everything to ensure their visitors have a great stay...and we did! Very well equipped and presented. Helpful house file, magazines and milk and biscuits kindly left for us. 10 minute wander to the town centre and a great pub, The Unicorn, about 25 yards down the road. Huge thanks to Debs and Malcolm.

Would definitely stay at Corve Cottage again

Just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Ludlow. Tesco was a short walk from the cottage. Loved everything about the cottage, didn’t want/need anything else.

Lovely cottage in a fantastic location - comfortable, cosy and well equipped. Close to all amenities and we particularly appreciated the parking permit. Very attentive owners, a small problem we had with the shower was resolved in minutes. The Unicorn pub a couple of doors away is lovely and there are plenty of good places to eat nearby.

It’s lovely to stay somewhere that makes you feel as if you are home. Ludlow was once our home .

Near every thing , had everything we needed . Owners left lovely treats when we arrived

The single bed would probably be better under the window across the back wall . As the floors in the old house are so uneven. Also placing there you would have a light next to you .

Cosy, comfortable traditional cottage close to town centre

Quaint, historic townhouse. Compact but everything provided. Lovely little garden which was peaceful and sheltered. Games and books provided as well as instructions for kitchen alliances. Safe area and secure property, 5-7muns walk from town square, and train station.

Bedroom doors may need attention. I was concerned about waking children at night when doors creaked. Perhaps clearer notices about using cooker and changing shower temperature. Found them a little confusing because different appliances seem to have different controls these days.

Lovely clean cottage in a central location.

Great location close to the town centre and with Tesco and Aldi a short walk from the property, could not fault it. Would recommend the Unicorn pub just a few doors down from the cottage. A traditional pub with lots of character and friendly locals. The food is just filled rolls, but if you are there on a Thursday night, there is a large help yourself selection of cheeses, pickles and crackers on offer.

The oven had us beaten. Far to complicated, (despite some written instructions), in fact, we had to addmit defeat and go to the chippy, which is just past Tesco's. Also, the TV was disapointing with just very limited channels on Freeview, but smart connectivity for those with Netflix, etc, subscriptions. For the cost of the property I would expect Sky TV. But these are just minor points and would not stop us from staying at the cottage in future.

Well-appointed house with thoughtful provision of non-essential kitchen items eg dishwasher tablets, salt & pepper. The sitting room had games as well as a book detailing the interesting history of this old area.

The bed in the small bedroom, though comfortable, creaked a lot whenever the occupant turned over. Bedroom and bathroom doors were also a bit creaky!

A memorable four days with friends in Ludlow

This quirky, characterful cottage was a delight to stay in: sloping floors and walls, nothing was quite square, homey decor and a small but perfectly formed back garden. By contrast, the kitchen and bathroom were modern, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. Location was perfect for sightseeing in Ludlow town, grocery shopping, lots of restaurants (all within easy walking distance) and for the concert (Nile Rodgers and Chic) at Ludlow Castle.

I would highly recommend Corve Cottage and the area around Ludlow

Perfect location, close to train station, a short stroll to the market square and Ludlow Castle. A market every day except Tuesday. Typical English market town pubs with a variety of local beers and serving good food. A great location for visiting all along the Welsh borders. The trains run to Manchester in one direction and Cardiff in the other with a host of interesting places to visit along the way

Couldn't have been better - fabulous stay in a beautiful cottage in a great town - highly recommend

Just returned from Corve Cottage in Ludlow and it was exceptional - fantastic location only a few minutes walk to the town and the property itself was stunning! Everything you would require for a stay was there - including a lovely welcome pack of milk, botte of fizz and beer, and some delightful biscuits! plenty of restaurants locally - unfortunately we left it too late for The Unicorn inn which was a couple of doors down, but the menu looked very good. Ate at The French Pantry one night and the food was lovely - would recommend. We visited Stokesay castle on one day - a beautiful Tudor manor house and stopped for lunch at the Green Dragon in Little Stretton - so impressed we went back for Sunday lunch! Saturday was spent in around Ludlow, wandering through the town and visiting the Church, Castle and market. The one downside was that Bistro 7 was closed due to staff holidays - perhaps next time! The hosts Debs and Mal were very pleasant and attentive and kept us up to date with the booking and parking arrangements.

De locatie was prima. Leuk (oud) huis en van alle gemakken voorzien. Fijn dat de bedden waren opgemaakt en dat er meer dan genoeg handdoeken en theedoeken waren. Zelfs pleisters waren aanwezig

alleen jammer dat de twee toiletten boven waren ( 1 beneden was prettiger geweest)
