I have never experienced such poor customer service and rude behaviour. They have no idea how to speak to or maintain guests. Cleaner couldn’t find 3 vapes under a bed prior to our arrival but my small son did, so they found a chair with scuffs along the back and blamed us, took money from deposit! The chair fit into the rest of the property’s theme of being run down.

Internet connection - poor unable to use Netflix during stay on and off it would stop working. Mobile phone WiFi terrible!
Washing machine not in use - dodgy unreliable plumber.
Hot tub and outdoor heaters although promoted on post is an extortionate add on. Host price is not appropriate for the state of the house.
Following on from the issues of the entire stay I then received abusive WhatsApp messages where I had to block the host due to the aggressive messages due to me complaining via booking.com. We now know that would be due to the backlog of complaints the host has received.

Nice house but not great location
The house catered for our needs, nice garden and plenty of kitchen items, and great to have fans available in each bedroom.
The location is not pleasant, didn't feel safe to walk around alone. Plus a lot of unfinished DIY, the porch is full of paint and rubbish. Unfinished painting and poor finishes in most rooms.

Great place for a night
Perfect outdoor place, so glad we went with the firepit. Accommodating 11 of us outside, pergola was perfect as it was raining and still allowed us to be outside. Didn't spend much time inside which worked for us.

11th person ended up sleeping on the sofa downstairs, wasn't very clear that 1 of the room had the sofa bed in sharing with a double bed

Had to pay extra for 2 hour early check in and 1 hour late check out due to needing additional cleaner to have house prepared early, house was not clean. Felt grubby, poorly decorated, stair carpet dirty and stained, and with the house freezing the whole time, it generally felt poor

The hosts were exceptionally communicative. When issues arise, they are quick to respond.
The fact it was close to the city centre.
The kitchen and bathrooms were very modern and well decorated.
The living room was LOVELY!
Although there were a few minor details, we would stay again if we were ever in Birmingham.
Parking at the house was very easy.
Unfortunately, the cleaner who had been hired to clean the property had missed a few corners. However, this was due to the previous guests and the lack of respect they had for the house and host. The host was fantastic, kept us informed throughout and luckily this did not impact our stay.
The outside area, although acceptable for our needs, could do with a little maintenance.
The kitchen would benefit from an extra baking tray for cooking in the kitchen - but not an issue.
The dining table only sits 6 people.

Casa com 5 quartos, todos com camas de casal. Camas confortáveis. Bem equipado, com um terraço exterior bastante espaçoso. Bom aquecimento.
Vários pontos da casa continham lixo/entulho/materiais para obras. A luz da casa de banho não funcionava, havia gavetas dos armários partidas. A porta do chuveiro não fechava bem. Mas o pior é a localização: longe do centro, numa zona muito mal frequentada, cheia de discotecas, lixo por todo o lado.
