Klara's House

What a wonderful week we had a Klara's House. It's everything that the other reviews say: beautifully decorated, exceptionally well equipped. There's a fab Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser hot chocolate machine with chocolate sachets and marshmallows, a Nespresso pod coffee machine with pods, plus two teapots - everywhere else we've stayed has never provided one so we usually take our own - so we were very happy to have two plus a tea cosy! There's also a cafetiere, lots of condiments, teabags of all varieties and basic food supplies if you need them (which you then replace) There's a big fridge and under counter freezer, plus microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, a large selection of books and plenty of towels, cleaning equipment and supplies along with a wonderful selection of Neal's Yard toiletries. There was a huge delicious cake waiting for us when we arrived along with milk and some fresh fruit in the fridge.  The owners have thought of everything including for your dogs - there are plenty of throws to cover the furniture and a jar of dog treats, which our two lurchers loved, plus plenty of dog bowls. The garden was completely fenced in and safe for our dogs and they loved playing and pottering in it and a conservatory that we enjoyed sitting in. The area that Klara's House is in is so peaceful and quiet, we were really able to wind down and relax. We loved visting the beaches and Cudmore Grove Country Park plus walking around and exploring West Mersea.  The local webcam for viewing the Strood crossing was very useful along with the tide times.  It was our best holiday in years and we can't wait to return. 

There was nothing that we didn't like, it was all perfect.

Beautiful well equipped cottage. Bright and airy with a great location. Fully enclosed garden with off street parking.

It was a great location, clean and comfortable. The host had everything available and cleaning products in the cupboards - not to mention the awesome cake upon arrival
