A beautiful, cosy and well thought out accommodation, in the most perfect location.
We usually book properties where we have the whole place and we weren't sure how we'd feel being the same property as someone else but it feels like a completely separate, private, contained apartment. The host was perfect, attentive, we had everything we needed and had a beautiful stay. We will be back :)
The property was well furnished, up to date, cosy and an ideal space to explore Norwich from.
It was all brilliant. We have nothing negative to say about it.

Excellent location, within walking distance of all attractions and many bars restaurants and cafes. Matt is a great host. Parking was sorted by Matt and we left the car parked safely for the duration of the stay as everything was within walking distance.

The little apartment was very cosy, the bed was a small double but very comfy. There was a big tv with netflix where we watched a film one night, the kitchen was easy to use. Check in was easy and Matt met us with the key on arrival. The location was perfect and we liked all the recommendations that Matt suggested for food, walks and coffee.
The parking was a bit difficult as it is permit parking, which Matt gave us a free permit for but required us getting up at 7:30am on Saturday to move our car as the night we arrived there were no spaces. Perhaps on a weekday you would have no issues but not ideal on the weekend.

Matt, could not have been a better host, communicating well and even providing us with free parking permits (tricky to find a space though) The location is on quiet street but only a 100 meters from the bustling center of the city. It could not be better for exploring Norwich No need for a car. Just a few minutes walk to the market square and lots of lovely restaurants and cafes. Ten minutes to the castle and just a few more to the cathedral. Both well worth a visit
The lovely little house is 500 years old so you have to expect it to be a little quirky with two steep narrow staircases to get to the well appointed top floor apartment. The bedroom being small, the bed is 4 feet (1200mm) wide which could be a bit tight for two large people. There are lovely new, fresh kitchen and shower room (great shower)

Great location. The loft was lovely, homely and tidy. Matt (the host) was really accommodating and friendly. All instructions were super clear. Matt also provided us with parking permits, which needed changing everyday. Would 100pc stay again!
There was very little not to like. The bed is a queen so can be small for a couple, but very comfy still and slept well regardless. We stayed in late August, so as you’d expect a loft can get quite warm, so perhaps it could benefit from a fan.

Great location, clean flat, nice flowers, excellent shower.
Just a double bed and felt smaller. Anybody bigger not used to sleeping in a standard double would really struggle for space, doubles just are not big enough these days. Sofa was pretty uncomfortable as well. Shame as with a better bed, and sofa it would be a really nice flat. But as always quality of sleep is so important, and ours was not great.
Biggest disappointment was parking instructions, scratch cards provided which was great but the instructions were not clear enough espeially when arriving late, and we ended up parking in a space thinking it was permit friendly and getting a parking ticket. When we messaged host about it he wasn't particularly communicative or apologetic and didn't reply to most of text, needs to take better care in giving instructions for people in the future who are not used to the area, as some of the parking permit signs are a bit confusing. Make it clear there are some areas in the zone the permits are not suitable for. Totally appreciate I ultimately made a mistake, but if giving instructions they need to be better.
I would also not recommend the flat for anybody very old or with mobility issues as stairs are very steep.

It was a delightful 16C Georgian House with a lovely apartment at the top of the house. We didn’t mind the steep stairs: we are 76 and 83, but some might find them a little daunting. It was worth the climb.
Host Matt, welcomed us , and went over some information: a very warm welcome. The accommodation was very well appointed and scrupulously clean.
The location is fabulous, so close to everything: sights, shopping, cafes/bars, and within walking distance from the railway station.

Everything. Location perfect. Has everything you need. Lovely and clean. Matt was excellent. Responded to all our queries and then followed up to ensure we were happy..
The staircase is tricky to negotiate, but you know this when you book it.

Matt was a great host: very quick to respond to messages and exceptionally welcoming.
The location is perfect as it's so central. The flat is located on a quiet street, but within a minute there are plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants.
Lovely views over Norwich from the bathroom and kitchen and everything you need for a weekend away.
Really good, powerful shower with plenty of hot water.
Fresh flowers in the room were a lovely touch.
The steep stairs didn't bother us, but it might for some people with mobility issues.
We are used to a king size bed so struggled with what felt like a small double so didn't sleep well

Matt, the owner was charming and very helpful. Highly recommended.
Be aware, the stairs to the upper flat are steep, but the building isn't tall.

Very good location within walking distance of shops, station, buses, museums, places to eat. Quiet street. Great for a short stay.
Its a loft apartment as in the listing, so the stairs could be an issue for some people, but fine for me.

Friendly and helpful host. Excellent location in a quiet road in the city centre. Clean and well presented with flowers and tea/coffee/milk. Excellent value for money.
My 5'9" husband kept hitting his head when climbing the (very steep) stairs and when using the kitchen and bathroom. There is a microwave and toaster in the kitchenette but no hob or oven. The pillows were very, very soft.

The landlord, Matt, received me in person, explained the facilities in the apartment and recommended me cafés and restaurants nearby. This friendliness immediately made the cold arrival day warm.

Property owner met me on arrival & showed me around. Very clean & exactly as described / as shown in photos.
Excellent location, very central, though you might want to keep the windows closed at the weekend, unless you want the late night drinkers to wake you up!
Nothing to fault. Like previous reviewers, it's my own fault for not reading the listing fully.
Steep stairs? Yep, specifically mentioned.
Bed somewhat small? Yep, specifically mentioned.
Access is via owner's property? Yep, specifically mentioned!
Not Matt's fault at all. It's mine (& those that visited before me) for not reading properly!

Property is brilliantly located on a quiet street in the city centre. The apartment is private yet the host is on hand and very friendly and knowledgeable. The views from kitchen window stunning.
Salt and pepper in the kitchen would be great.

Good location for exploring the city and eating out establishments .
Parking available close by.
Very comfortable apartment.
Although we understood it was a loft apartment on booking, the access to the apartment via the staircase was steep and narrow although hand rails are fitted.

Location great for city centre
lovely and clean
Easy to get keys and option of parking permit
Didn’t realise it was part of the house with no front door but didn’t spoil our stay used the bedroom key to lock away personal items and don’t think anyone else in house

Location ideal, friendly owner, clean and very comfortable.
Nothing major tbh, a couple of essentials missing from kitchen, but to be fair we did book late the evening before turning up
