Lovely, comfortable cottage, great location!

We stayed here whilst visiting family in the area and it was just lovely. Clean and comfortable, great location and all the extras that you need for a nice stay.

Lovely quirky cottage in the centre of beautiful Ironbridge.

Only a very short stay at Forget Me Not Cottage for work, I wish it had been longer. This is a lovely quirky and comfortable cottage, spacious and well equipped. Having a parking place that is easily accessible in beautiful but hilly and windy-laned Ironbridge was a great help, especially when travelling with dogs and their beds and paraphernalia. Centrally located for the museums, the bridge and fabulous walks. Many thanks to the owners.

Fab quirky little cottage.

Had everything I required for my stay & fab that the cottage accepts dogs & has parking for 2 cars (I only had 1 though). WiFi was spot on over all 3 floors of the cottage. Melissa the owner was fab communication wise.

Only downside for me was no garden area (almost all pet friendly cottages I looked at didn’t though but went for this one as best location for me). A small issue but contacted Melissa straight away to let her know & she got back to me quite quickly.

The cottage is perfectly located to walk into Ironbridge and along the bridge/gorge. We walked all the way to the Victorian Village and back through town. There are lots of excellent restaurants, pubs etc all within walking distance. Being dog friendly was perfect, Stanley is very well behaved and definitely enjoyed his stay. The cottage is cosy, comfortable, feels private and secure. There were plenty of towels provided in each of the bedrooms, the kitchen is well equipped, nice bathroom, thank you, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Forget Me Not cottage to our friends.

The blinds in the kitchen and dinning room didn’t function…..although it wasn’t a problem for us it could be for others. A small outside table/chairs in the front parking area would be nice, particularly in the warm/hot weather. The downstairs sofa/bed wasn’t very nice….we didn’t need it but I think other people could be disappointed.

Short stay to visit the museums etc

Excellent location, parking, close proximity to Ironbridge centre, Pub, shop, it ticks all boxes.

Period property over 3 levels, so be aware it’s going to be difficult for elderly/disabled. Shame there isn’t a shower, but the bath is great!

Beautiful small cottage, great location and quiet neighbourhood!

The property was quaint and rusticity decorated. Gave it a lot of character! Located close to Telford town centre which was perfect for us traveling back and fourth every day. The rooms were lovely! The Golden Ball pub was really nice too and within walking distance of the cottage

I wasn’t happy with was the stairs down to the living room, they aren’t carpeted so not great for dogs. My dog struggled going up and down them so mainly stayed in the dinning room and kitchen. It would also be good to put in a mini fridge/freezer. Luckily my dogs raw food lasted in the fridge for the days we were there but if I was to stay longer, I would need a small freezer to store the dog food.

I wouldn't recommend staying here with small children. The wooden windy stairs made me a nervous wreck all weekend. Ideal for a family with older children. I didn't think the cottage was particularly clean and we found rubbish in one of the drawers when looking for the hairdryer.

Cosy cottage in a great location for exploring Ironbridge

Nice cost cottage in a great location with some original features. Good use of space and facilities such as smart tv/ WiFi which kept the younger people happy. The dog bed and plenty of cushions were nice touches.

There was nothing we didn’t like and nothing bad at all although some things felt tired. The two single beds were ok but felt pretty old. The kitchen and bathroom were nice but perhaps a bit dated and needed some tlc.

Location was great and its a cosy cottage

Stairs were a slight struggle and the internet kept dropping so we struggled to watch netflixs in the bedroom.

Would stay again but a few little tweaks needed

Great location and spacious . Good value for money generally for a group our size at this time of year. You can’t argue with the beauty of the place and it’s a good spot to explore from.

Could do with a few more towels and can’t understand why no freezer in kitchen- or even a small ice box- was disappointing as we had brought items that needed to be frozen. Also a vacuum cleaner and broom would be handy in a house this size- we had to clean on our knees with a dustpan and brush! Nothing to air clothes even though there’s a washing machine in the cottage? Nowhere outside to hang clothes either. Outside stairs need a really good clean. Bin was full to brimming and seemed to have not been emptied in a while. Bit of TLC basically but it was still good value for money … with a few tweaks it would be great.

A lovely characterful cottage in the heart of Ironbridge

A picturesque and characterful cottage in a great location very close to Ironbridge and all the sights and museums we had come to see. The cottage was spacious being spread across three floors and well furnished with a good array of comfortable seating and sleeping options. The kitchen was well equipped and the welcome pack from the hosts covered everything we wanted to know. Although it wasn't an issue for us, due to the age and period features some of the door handles and steep staircases might present problems for young children or those with accessibility issues. This is an inevitable consequence of the rustic character of the property and didn't impact negatively on our holiday.

Good location. Easy to park.Had all we needed for a couple of days stay. Kitchen facilities good although we had to clean the sink. Grease under the bowl. Bedding and bathroom was clean and the cottage neat and tidy

The downstairs sitting room was disappointing, very dark. We would have preferred some seating off the kitchen rather than a large table and chairs. Bedding was clean but the bed itself a little uncomfortable. Unable to use the TV , no aerial ?
