Modern, Lovely and Spacious Home

Our host was very proactive and responsive! The home was spotless, bed was really comfortable and the location was close to everything we had planned!

So many cool things about the house. Charming, historic, amazing location, easy parking. It's evident they tried a nice, homey feel, lots of throw pillows and pictures on the walls. Well stocked: all paper goods, facial tissue, laundry pods, tons and tons of coffee pods for the Keurig machine. The A/C is excellent, works well and is much needed. A couple of things to note. No dishwasher and flatware service for 4 and no more. Initially, between two closets, there were 3 hangers. I went to Target and bought 14. Needed them because we were in Richmond for the speech and debate competition, so had to hang shirts, suits, etc.The pillows were thin, synthetic-filled, and not to my liking. I ended up purchasing a firm foam pillow from Target, where I also bought cotton sheets. The provided sheets were 50% polyester, which I did not find comfortable. The mattress itself was fine and met my expectations. The bathroom floor is old, discolored and molding around the floor is unfinished/not painted. Did not love this.

We booked this home for a girls weekend for the Monument 10k. It was just a block away from the start area. The communication from the host was outstanding. Check-in was easy as was checking out. This is located at the corner of a busy street and can be a little loud from cars driving by. However, there are sound machines in each of the bedrooms and living room. This was perfect for a nice weekend. Easy to walk to restaurants, VCU, etc. Definitely recommend.

We loved our visit to Richmond. Proximity to convention center was ideal for us - 6 block walk. Broad Street is a quick walk away. We highly recommend Tarrant’s restaurant. This home worked wonderfully for us. We did turn the heat way down to keep the bedrooms cooler so the supplied space heaters were much appreciated. If you are a light sleeper, I would suggest that you bring a box fan to drown out city noise. Host is very attentive. We will stay here again if we return!
