Welcome to the `Neighborhood House`! Minutes to the Fan District, Museum District, Scott`s Addition, Downtown Richmond, Jackson Ward, Carytown, VCU, the Diamond, Altria Theater, Texas Beach & more! Private 2-story house, suitable for 8. Entire space is yours to enjoy. This newly renovated home has everything you`ll need to enjoy a relaxing getaway. Front porch, back patio & private driveway parking. Keyless entry. Perfect for those wanting to explore the nearby nature trails or city`s thrills!
Step into the living room, where you’ll find a pull-out sofa bed (sleeps two), two additional lounge chairs, and a flat-screen Roku TV—a great space to unwind. The adjoining dining area offers seating for six with stylish lighting and French doors leading to the back patio, making indoor-outdoor dining seamless.
The fully stocked kitchen has all the essentials for preparing meals, featuring a microwave, dishwasher, and double-basin sink with a window overlook. Just off the kitchen, you’ll find a convenient laundry room with a washer and dryer.
Upstairs, the master bedroom is a relaxing retreat with a king-size bed, ergonomic desk, Roku TV, ceiling fan, and a spacious ensuite bathroom featuring his and hers sinks, a large vanity, and a shower/tub combo. The second bedroom offers a cozy queen-size bed, while the third bedroom has two single beds, perfect for additional guests or family members. A full hallway bathroom with a shower/tub combo and ample storage serves these rooms.
On the lower level, a half bath provides added convenience for guests.
Outside, enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch or unwind on the back patio, featuring outdoor seating for six and a shaded umbrella—the perfect setting for cocktails or al fresco dining.

-We are pet friendly. However, we only accept dogs.
-Please dispose of all trash before departing.
-Please only place toilet paper in the toilet.
-Place all dirty linens in the dirty linen hampers.
-Please clean any dirty dishes before checking out.
-Any and all acts by guest(s) and/or its invitees, that result in damages to the property or its contents, whether such act was intentional or the result of negligence will allow the host and or owner to deduct from the security deposit any and all cost incurred or to be incurred in returning the property or its contents to its original state and/or replace the item(s) as needed.
-Owner is not responsible for articles left in the premises.
-Guest(s) shall leave the property in neat and undamaged condition.

Very nice property with parking and easy entry/exit. Rooms are comfortably furnished with good lighting and easy access to plugs. Nice baskets with all the towels you will need are waiting for you upon arrival. Comfortable beds. Bathrooms are nicely appointed. Lots of closet space, and little touches like luggage racks are so helpful. Chairs and couch in the family room are comfortable. TVs work well. We had a little problem with one tv upon arrival - it turned out to be a power block failure- and host went out of their way to send over a handyman and quickly addressed the issue. We didn’t cook while we were there but the kitchen is nice and the refrigerator works well. Excellent communication from host, with recommendations for the area as well. Reasonably priced for a lot of space.

Our host was very responsive, we were in town for the Richmond Marathon and the house was in a great location for it.

Overall, the stay was alright. The neighborhood wasn't unsafe, but it wasn't exactly clean and quiet. The house was good, and fit our needs for the week we were there. Except...The kitchen was disgusting when we arrived. There were standing pools of water between the dishes and bowls stacked in the cabinets. There was standing yellow water in the coffee carafe. Somehow, a pile of coffee grounds came out of the k-cup dispenser when we cleaned it. Blinds were broken -- one heavily -- and the pots were rusted through. We reached out about the pots, and thankfully the rental company was able to get us new pots delivered the next morning. I could forgive most of this, but many of the same issues we saw were mentioned in a review six months ago. With that in mind, I wouldn't be able to recommend this stay without more issues being addressed.
