Charming Terraced House in Central Hoylake

We couldn't fault this quaint little set up, great location, easy for parking and Phil the host couldn't have been more helpful or hospitable than he was, what an absolute diamond. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Nice coffee machine (perhaps you could enlarge the instructions, a bit hard to read). Lovely location. Easy key access. Heating very responsive and easy to use. It was easy to remember to turn off on the way out. Very very clean. Super clean really a very good point.

Power sockets were very awkward. Eg sitting with a laptop in the kitchen (where else?) it was very annoying to try to plug in. I get it is an old house and this is a challenge, but the power sockets behind the washing machine seem to have been deliberately hidden (for aesthetics?). No need for that. It should be easy enough to make something available. It would be massivley better for someone like me who wasnt to use their laptop. Bedside tables a bit too small. Beautiful and artistic, but tiny.

Parking could be challenging at times.Perhaps some other basic provisions, such as milk, would be helpful.

The house was fabulous...small but perfectly formed! We only stayed one night en route to our destination but Phil was as attentive as if we were staying longer. His place was immaculate and all the facilities were as described. Hoylake has an abundance of pubs and eating places and convenience/ small supermarkets within a short walk of the property. We were able to park right outside the property which was a relief after a long drive. We had a good night's sleep as the beds were comfortable and the area very quiet. We would happily stay again and thoroughly recommend Phil's property.
