Spacious, comfortable, clean.

The apartment was in a perfect location, clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our stay for five nights. The host Alessandra is very approachable and helpful. She was at the apartment when we arrived and showed us around. The facilities are great and having aircon in the apartment was God sent. There is a coop, range of restaurants, desert places and shops literally on the door step. The apartment was clean and had a such welcoming feel to it. I would definitely go back one day.

My family and I had a great stay at the Materesa Airbnb. The place definitely exceeded our expectations. It was clean, spacious, and had a really cool, unique style. It was well-equipped with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a washer, which was super handy for doing light laundry. Having A/C was a huge plus on hot days, too. We also really appreciated Alessandra's amazing hospitality. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and was super quick to reply to our messages. She allowed us to check-in late and met us at the place, which we appreciated since we arrived very late. The location is perfect. It was surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops. Plus, we could easily walk to major attractions like Teatro Massimo, the Palermo Cathedral, Mercato del Capo and Mercato Ballaró.

This is a lovely apartment close to many shops, restaurants and areas of interest in Palermo. It is located on a small, fairly quiet piazza with a handful of restaurants and bars directly below and many, many more just steps away. The apartment is clean, spacious and well-stocked. The host left us some breakfast items for our first morning and a market and a co-op are also steps away so it was very easy to purchase other supplies, food, etc. The washing machine worked well and our clothes dried quickly on the clothesline outside of the kitchen balcony.

I have nothing negative to say about this place! The only drawback may be that the nearest Metro stop (Lolli), is a 15-20 minute walk away. But there is so much to see that is closer, it wasn’t an issue for us.
