The apartment is very spacious, elegant and well furnished. The central location near the Teatro Massimo is convenient to stores, restaurants and several of Palermo major sights. The owner made a sincere effort to repair the mon-working AC unit.

On arrival, the owner could have spent more time showing us the apartment instead of being in a hurry to leave as soon as possible. Do not like the policy of having to pay 15 euros per hour beyond the 5 PM check-in time. Although we arrived by car at 3:30 PM, what iff an unforseen event, like a traffic jam, had delayed our arrival? We definitely got the impression that the apartment had not been rented in a while. The electrical circuit has limited capacity as only two major appliances (2 AC units out of 3, or 1 AC unit and the washing machine) can be used at one time without kicking off the main circuit breaker. Two of the AC units were not functional upon our arrival; the owner got one of them working and did his best to get the other working. The washing machine had stagnant water in it that smelled incredibly bad; we ran the machine with soap through 3 empty washing cycles, before we could wash our clothes.

Someone was at the apartment to welcome us and provide all the relevant information.

It was safe and clean, a very comfortable, well decorated and an exceptionally well appointed apartment.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Very well appointed, air-conditioned large apartment close to a range of shops and walking distance to the old city.

Just need to be careful running the AC. Stick to host’s advice.
