The location is excellent. The house and the rooms are spacious and fully equipped. Even though we were a party of eight -family and friends- we all enjoyed a sense of privacy. Unfortynately we did not enjoy the lovely garden because of the time of year and the midges.

The double bed on the first floor tilts on the one side.

Cheerful cottage but needs a bit of love to make it 5* happy

The location is perfect. The property has lots of space. Outside area is a good size. Comfortable bed. Good shower ,

Disappointed with the equipment in the kitchen, plenty of pans and plates but missing essentials like cutlery, wine and standard glasses plus cooking utensils. Told there was kitchen cleaning products but only fairy liquid and a dishcloth. No tv channels so unless you like you tube or a subscriber of netflix you can't watch telly. No radio. Oven is a nightmare to use as no instructions. 40 mins to cook a frozen pizza! The photos on this site are old and different furniture is downstairs. The Outdoor area needs a good clean but I couldn't find a brush nor has the ratten furniture any cushions so its unusable. The house is up for sale so there isn't money being spent on it . Although this review isn't great the house could be fabulous with a bit of maintenance. Take some cleaning stuff and be prepared for basic facilities and you'll be fine.

Nice house, okay but needed a bit of tlc - could have been better

Good sized house and comfortable sleep, plenty of bathrooms and space. Arrochar is lovely and house location is ideal walkable to pubs and restaurants. Loch Lomond west coast so easy to reach for activities too. Host was responsive over messaging service

Had to phone to ask for lockbox code and check-in instructions Rubbish bins outside were bursting full even though we were told they'd be emptied Several cobwebs in at least 3 of the rooms Not enough plates and cutlery Taps on the bath don't work properly

Overall we had a good stay but the house could be perfect with a bit of attention.

The house was warm, comfortable and generally well decorated. The location is good, only a few minutes from Loch Long and a short walk to the village where there are a selection of places to eat. The agent responded promptly to messages.

The dining chairs were not those in the photos and were badly stained. The vertical blinds were in need of repair. The kitchen units were tired and doors not in very good condition. We couldn't use the decking area as it had not been cleared of fallen leaves.

great place for large groups/family to explore Loch Lomond area

clean, light and airy in a lovely location on loch long

only thing I would say is that the kitchen was a bit sparsely provided in terms of utensils/crockery etc. appliances were all fine, loads of fridge space etc just could do with a few more bits and pieces, and things like tea towels, a couple of dishwasher tablets etc that you wouldn’t normally look to bring for a short stay

excellent stay & would recommend

brilliant location, excellent layout property. generous bedrooms my 5 year old loved the garden - played on the swing & loved racing along the garden to the rock by the trees. Numerous walks to Loch Lomond close by & loch long is 1 min walk away.
