Compact, beautiful and lovely dogs

We arrived a little later than planned, which wasn't a problem at all with self check-in which was super easy. Our satnavs did take us down the next road over with that postcode, but it is the driveway with the white concrete blocks maybe 10 metres over. There's space on the driveway to park, and only a short walk to get into the field space. And what a beautiful space it is, lovely green field with some horses, sheep and chickens. They were wonderful to wake up to and watch, especially hearing the cockrel at dawn! We love animals and the countryside, it was amazing to watch the wildlife and how many birds were around. We saw 4 different birds of prey, rabbits, bats and many smaller birds. We felt very safe in the space, especially having the guard dog who took his job very seriously :) The cabin was incredible, we couldn't believe how much was in there! VERY comfy bed, mini kitchen with induction hob which is a great idea, spacious electric shower and usable caravan style toilet. It was so cosy, and smells of nice clean wood! The sink is just enough to wash up in, and as it says in the welcome pack the tap is quite strong and it does splash, so lower setting is best. There is a television with DVDs available to watch, and multiple plug sockets for your own devices if you bring any. We had a lovely time, especially spending the evenings by the firepit, hearing the wildlife, and listening to the horses munching away on the grass :) The welcome pack let us know there were local bridleways just down the road. We opted for the path on the opposite side of the road and headed for the vineyards. The trails were lovely, used, and overgrown in a good way, full of little mice and butterflies! We ambled our way for hours, getting lost, enjoying the peace, and enjoying the rain when it came! Thank you for letting us stay, I was in desperate need of being in the countryside and having a reset, and this definitely did that ❤️

Great host, amazing location, gorgeous view to wake up to and relatively central if you bring a car. The room is spacious enough for one, not for two I’d say. The only thing is the shower and the toilet. It’s not the best but it’s also not that bad. You just have to learn how to use em a bit.

Beautiful quiet spot to unwind and get some down time between work commitments.

The shower was playing up while I was there but I expect that's a temporary issue. It would have been a tight fit for two people.
