Beech Cottage

It’s clean, comfortable, quiet and very dog friendly. It has stylish, good quality, fixtures and fittings. There are stable doors and a private enclosed back yard for the dogs, in which the owner has carefully left fresh water bowls. Comfy sofa to watch tv and chill. Nice shower room and shower gel provided. A good kitchen with thoughtful touches eg coffee, tea, milk, S&P. It took a few attempts at getting the WiFi. Parking is secure, private s d plenty of space. Would definitely book again. 8 minute drive to Petworth. Archie’s eggs (£2 for 6) perfect for breakfast!

The location was great for where I needed to be and easy to find. I also needed to alter my dates last minute and the owners were really responsive.

Unfortunately I stayed during an awful heatwave and there was no fan in the property. I think it could get pretty hot in there during any summer period, so a fan would be very helpful. There wasn’t a huge amount of cooking utensils, a smaller pan would be helpful and only one bin bag provided, so I had to get my own second one. The towels were also really tiny. Only small details, but these things make a difference. Oh and leaving a tiny bit of milk in the fridge would have been a nice touch.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem ruhigen, charmanten Innenhof – vermutlich in liebevoll umgebauten ehemaligen Stallungen. Hinter dem Haus gibt es zudem einen kleinen, umzäunten Außenbereich mit direktem Zugang. Der Wohnbereich mit Küche, Essplatz und Sofa ist großzügig geschnitten, gemütlich eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Auch das Bett war sehr bequem und sorgte für erholsame Nächte. Wir haben uns während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts ausgesprochen wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

It was a cute property, great location and very quiet

It smelt damp when I walked in, not sure if there was a leak recently but I couldn’t get rid of it no matter how many windows. Also bedding smelt too, could do with a refresh
