Staff Cottage

Comfortable bed and sofas, well equipped kitchen, internet very good, great showers. Also nice and cosy when, even though in May, weather was a little cooler. Easy to park with plenty of space.

Our next door neighbour was a horse, and unfortunately the bedroom wall adjoined the stable. It bumped about, scraped its hooves during the night, and then started neighing at first light, so we had disturbed nights. Perhaps someone who is used to horses wouldn't notice? Also, on the Monday morning someone cleaned the windows with a hose at about 7am, just when I was hoping to sleep on after the horse disturbing us.!

Becki was very friendly and welcoming on arrival. Staff Cottage is comfortable, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed (although Wifi could do with some improvement). Great location: quiet and with beautiful countryside on the doorstep. There are two great pubs in Kirdford, about 2 miles walk away through bluebell woods and along country lanes.

Am so sorry but the inter net was very poor. I had planed to do some work and I needed the internet. It just kept dropping out and I could not use my phone to hot spot. PLEASE get a wifi booster or new wifi then I happy score you 11 out of 10. The place was fantastic but I needed wifi.

Becki is a lovely and welcoming host who was super accommodating at the last minute. Lovely, warm and well equipped cottage with a modern kitchen, two lovely bathrooms and a super king bed. Children played outside in the courtyard for a while which they enjoyed. Love the old stable doors.
