Orchid Lodge - Two Bed Generous Flat - Parking, Netflix, WIFI - Close to Blenheim Palace & Oxford - F4

The two bedrooms a double and twin are both fine. The one with the double bed is small for a double bed but as we were not staying there very much it was fine. Bedroom with the 2xtwin beds is better.

Some maintenance is required in both bathrooms- eg shower hose. Kitchen is adequate however the kitchen utensils are poor - knives are not sharp and there is no sharpener, pans are old / damaged / warped. The cutlery is really cheap and poor quality. There is no proper serving bowls, chopping board , trivets, only one tea towel. While overall the place is clean the bins need a good clean - there are liquid stains from previous guests on both of them. The windows in the main living room only open a small amount and as it was very warm this was not good. The sofas in the living room - I guess convert into beds and this would allow six people to stay but the sofas themselves are very uncomfortable to sit on. Main bathroom door sometimes locks and is difficult to open from inside.

Sehr nah an Oxford, mittig zwischen London und Dudley. Sainsburys Superstore in der Nähe.

Nice building good access. Modern style with all amenities and excellent kitchen/diner/living area. One bedroom was really nice with nice on suite. Main bathroom was really nice and spotless clean.

Second bedroom was very small. No wardrobe. Bedside table squeezed in and actually not touching the floor. Only windows were two velux roof lights. Very small box room that actually wasn’t big enough for the double bed. Impossible to sleep in but mainly due to the heat with the fans having no effect. Had to sleep in the lounge on a settee which was also hot as the windows had opening restrictions fitted. As it was built into the roof the heat was trapped at this level.
