The Termini Apartment by Nosdom Properties

Very well maintained third floor vintage flat. All facilities available. Close to the station and public transport. Flat was mercifully cool even in the terrible June heat. Lovely views from all windows, including the washrooms!

Eating area is cramped and a family can’t sit down together. Everything else was great really!

The apartment was centrally located and has easy access (10 mins walk) to Roma Termini train station and central bus station. The host Nicollo promptly responded to our adhoc queries and resolved our issues quickly. The apartment was spacious and as shown in the pictures. The apartment was situated in the third floor and there is lift facility. This was our third time staying in this apartment and would definitely recommend for a family stay.

The apartment was not cleaned properly and we found things left behind by previous guests. The basic toiletries were missing, the sheets and towels were not clean. However the host was very responsive and immediately took action to get this resolved.

The apartment was located a few blocks away from Roma Termini, which makes arrival by train very easy and manegable. The apartment is good, clean, modern, and has large enough rooms, 2 independent bathrooms. It has a nice kitchen (a bit small). It lacks a common area, though (which ends up being the kitchen). The apartment has an elevator, which is very important when you're traveling with kids and have strollers, etc., and not always available in old buildings in Italy. The owners were easily available via WhatsApp and replied right away.

This is not a hotel, and there is no 24-hour concierge. Check out is at 10:00 am, and the cleaning staff came at 10:01 am. Although we were not ready to leave and were finalizing packing, changing diapers, the cleaning staff entered the apartment with us there (including some of us who were not even dressed). It became very stressful, weird, and uncomfortable as we were trying to get everything/packing ready to leave. Despite requesting to come back in a few minutes, the cleaning staff did not go, and we had to "request" to wait for a while outside. The owner started calling me multiple times and sending WhatsApps, etc, saying we had been rude to the staff, etc. I think that was a terrible management of the situation, as common sense would be "no worries, we will be back in 15 minutes," and that's it. They should improve this aspect. Something like this would never happen while staying in a hotel if you're 15-30 minutes late leaving the room, especially if check out is at 10 am and check in is at 4 pm. My recommendation would be to stay in a hotel if possible.
