Ocean Porto - Beach House

Our accommodation was perfect for the night we stayed in Matosinhos. Very clean. Miss V was so helpful and she was an amazing cook. Breakfast was wonderful and her cakes were delicious. Very helpful with suggestions and directions. Would definitely stay again!

Staff was very helpful, breakfast was delicious. The room was a couple of flights, but we knew that and it was ok for us. A small window to look out of, but the room and bed was very comfortable. Shower and washroom was beautiful. Streetcar also is on the same street, still good for the location as it was near everything

Very nice place to stay. Almost walked past it a few times. The sign on the house is small. Once inside house and everything wonderful. Great location. Tram runs next to house. I live in a large city so this didn’t bother me but white noise may be needed by others. My mom loved staying here

We had a really nice stay at Ocean Porto Beach house hotel. Don’t let the understated front facade fool you, it’s very nice inside! Ivo, our host, was very welcoming and friendly, and offered lots of useful tips for the area, including suggesting the inexpensive on-street parking nearby… after you check in you can park on the street and get a dashboard meter ticket until 8 pm and have it carry over several hours into the next day, so you don’t have to wake up early to get a new ticket. Matosinhos happens to be the seafood capital of the seafood capital! The restaurants were off the charts amazing, with their outdoor grills and fresh catches. The beach is about a 10 minute walk, and the airport is about a 10 minute drive. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hot tub was most enjoyable. A nice breakfast is served in the morning. Highly recommended!
