Loved our apartment, very spacious and had all the facilities we needed. Communication with the concierge service was excellent, and staff on site were friendly and helpful.

Only one minor issue during our stay. The door lock was a bit sticky on the entrance door to our apartment. A bit of a worry the first time we couldn’t get the door to open late at night. The maid sprayed the lock with wd40 the next day but we still had a few problems. Once we learned we had to be forceful when opening the door, we managed ok. Also think instructions for the hob and microwave would be helpful.

It was close to the beach, the tourist information centre, cafes and the beautiful park that was lit at night

Very well located, near the beach Praia Internacional in Matosinhos. 5 min walk to the beach where you can rest, rent a surfboard or join a surf school. Fish restaurants are very close too, a tramline connects it to downtown. The room was small but cozy, with AC.

The room is big enough, clean and quiet for a good night. I like the area (near the beach). If you want to visit Porto its a little too far but if you want to relax near the sea its perfect.

The communication with the hotel is horrible (no front desk with real humans). They use AI, boot so when you contact them by text, it’s AI. The day before my stay, I asked if I could drop by luggage before checking , AI said yes. When I showed up, all the hotel doors were locked at 1 p.m. I texted the hotel telling if I could drop my luggage and the AI answered that I could enter to drop the luggage. I texted the AI that I needed a code to open the door. AI sent me a code to open the door but it was not working. I txt again AI saying that the code was not working and AI told me that the code will be activated at 4 p.m. I had to knock many times until a maid opened the door to let me drop my luggage. Also I asked the hotel (TXT) if they had a freezer for my ice pack (need it for my medication). AI responded to me that there was no freezer in the hotel and I should find a solution by myself so I was trying for 2 hours to find a solution and even thinking to reserve a room somewhere else. Arriving in my room, I found a fridge with a freezer. Later on, I found that shower towels were missing and was afraid to text the hotel, considering that AI will probably tell me that it is not its problem. The Internet was also an issue (very unstable) but texting the hotel was not even considered, since AI don’t care. Hotel AI is not set to manage the out-of-the-box issue.
