I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during a work trip. It's a functional place suited for business travelers or workers—clean, as you’d expect from any hotel, but nothing beyond the basics. The breakfast was standard, nothing special. I wouldn’t recommend it for tourists, as it lacks charm or amenities that make a stay feel special. It serves its purpose if you're just looking for a place to sleep during work.

The breakfast offered was satisfactory, complemented by the amiable staff. The cleanliness and convenient location were really good.
Matosinhos is a really nice place to visit.
During my stay, the Wi-Fi was non-functional, and there were ongoing issues with the water heater, resulting in three out of four days without hot water. The resolution offered was a 50% refund, effectively covering two out of the four days or alternatively, a voucher for three free nights at the same hotel in the future. Despite these inconveniences, the staff remained friendly and provided apologies for the issues.
I'm currently awaiting the refund to reflect in my bank account, hopefully it will be processed within the next couple of days.
