This lakeside retreat checks all the boxes for a fun family getaway year-round. The home is newly renovated, clean, spacious, and stocked with everything you need. Enjoy the sandy-bottom lakefront, beach fire pit, tiki hut, kayaks + paddle board, sunset views, and time to rest and play. The bunkroom is perfect to share with cousins or friends! No parties, please.

Brakel Point was originally developed as a row of 30-40 summer cottages along the Eastern shore of Silver Lake. Over time, most of these cottages have been renovated, and are now year-round homes for local residents or families with second homes. It's a quiet street with super friendly neighbors! The home is less than 15 minutes from downtown Traverse City, and is among the closest lakefront vacation rentals to town.

Guests will enter through a contactless keypad lock and have full access to the entire home and beach throughout their stay.

The Bunk House features three large bedrooms, all on the second level. The primary bedroom features a king sized bed and lounging chair. The second bedroom features a queen bed with a large walk-in closet with plenty of room for a pack and play, and the third bedroom we refer to as "The Bunk Room". It features two full-over-full bunk beds, with sleeping for eight. There are also two full bathrooms, one upstairs, and one on the main level. The main level bath has a tub for bathing.

The home was fully renovated in 2022, with all new appliances, flooring, paint, bathrooms, furniture & linens. The decor is simple and modern, and stocked with everything you'll need to enjoy your Up North vacation! We maintain a fully stocked kitchen, with fresh linens and plenty of bath and beach towels for all guests. In the summer months, you'll find three kayaks and a stand-up paddle board available, along with plenty of beach chairs, and patio furniture on the deck and down at the beach tiki hut.

There is onsite parking for 3-4 cars in the driveway, and additional street parking if needed. The Beach House is a little less than 15 minutes from downtown Traverse City.
