I had a great trip to Viroqua and staying definitely had a hand in that. The location makes for a perfect jumping off point for day trips in the area, has plenty of restaurants in walking distance, and shops within a short drive. Wish I would have stayed longer.

It was very clean. Perfectly located in quaint downtown Viroqua.

Parking was fine until the roofers asked me to move my car because they needed the space for a huge dumpster. Roofers? While someone is using your property? Really frustrated that the host apparently had NO IDEA that Wednesday would start with a lot of hammering and noise around 7am. They were throwing all manner of debris off the roof, a lot of it landing on the porch, making it a dangerous proposition to enter and exit the property. When notified, the host said he would "talk to them" and never communicated after that. I understand that they aren't going to stop for one tenant, but why not just block the date so that there aren't any problems? And....if you don't know when these things are going to happen--shame on you. Who owns this place anyway? If I had known this was the situation I would have arrived and departed a day earlier--but no notice was given. Really amateurish on the one hand, and not really communicating with me on the other. A real failure.
