I am so blown away by how amazing this hotel is that it’s hard to put into words but I’m going to try. I got here after a 30 hour trip to celebrate my birthday. As soon as I walked in, I was wowed by the design of the hotel. And this is even before I saw my room. The 2 people working at reception were incredibly kind and welcoming, and even managed to get me into my room early, which given the long travel, I was very grateful for. I had requested a room that was quiet and didn’t have even a hint of smoke from the outside as I’m allergic. The reception building, 2nd floor did that trick. The room is insanely comfortable, and I’ve slept the best that I have ever slept at a hotel. Not only that, it’s super clean, the aircon is perfect, and every single staff member has gone above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. I’m here for my birthday and while this place isn’t cheap, you get what you pay for and it’s worth every euro in my opinion. STAFF I don’t know why there’s so many reviews about the staff being cold, but I haven’t felt that at all. Kindness is a 2 way street and it makes me wonder how the people behaved who had anything but exceptional things to stay about the staff behaved. THE FACILITIES I got a king standard room, and it’s almost double the size of the rooms I’ve stayed at across Europe. The shower and bathroom feel so luxurious and spacious. There’s also a rooftop sauna, a separate rooftop relaxing area, and a really nice gym. They also have been great about refilling my water bottle so I don’t have to go out and deal with buying plastic water bottles. THE STAFF Above and beyond is putting it lightly. It’s my first time in Germany and they have been so helpful with shop recommendations, food recommendations, and helping me figure out the train situation for my next stop. THE RESTAURANT This restaurant is top tier. And that’s putting it lightly. Breakfast was 28€ which feels steep but it’s not if you see what it includes. Fruit, veggies, eggs, German cuisine, Asian cuisine, vegetarian and vegan options, and best of all, a proper espresso (fresh, not from one of those questionable powdered machines) comes with the breakfast too. I was so impressed with breakfast I gave dinner a try. Just thinking about the Bavettw steak I ordered is making me hungry. AMBIANCE + LOCATION As a designer, I really appreciate how every single detail across all 4 buildings of the hotel and all the amenities has been well thought out. You can tell they designed the hotel with the guest in mind and the calmness and comfort I feel at this hotel is something I’ve only ever felt while staying at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. I already can’t wait to come back here in the future!

The hotel was close to central train lines and stations so it made it good to travel to. The food around the area was not super good but it was like to a market.

Love this hotel! Incredibly comfortable not just the bed but the layout and design. The sauna and relaxing area are great size. You will have a great stay!
