Only one house away from the ocean, Sweetpea's Cottage is recently renovated and one of the only homes to feature TWO master suites (including one of the largest master suites in a beach rental on Jekyll Island)! In total, there are 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms.
Your family will spend hours in the large private pool featuring a splash pad/sun deck for adults and children to enjoy. Relax in the porch bed swing as the ocean waves crash behind you. Grill the perfect beach meal on the outdoor grill while your kids splash in the family-friendly pool in a fenced-in yard. Enjoy the ultimate entertaining/dining area in the sun room, equipped with a mini-fridge for cold drinks and extra sink, that looks out over the pool.

2nd house from beach and just a short walk to Driftwood Beach.

We enjoyed our stay at Sweetpeas Cottage. There was lots of room to spread out. I wish the boardwalk at the end of our street would have been usable...other than that, great trip!

The house was great, plenty of room for 3 couples to spread out. The pool was awesome. We had a great time. The place could definitely use a deep clean and a fresh coat of paint, along with some new furniture- some of the chairs were pretty rickety. Couple of things that bothered me though were: 1. listing said beach access 100 yards- the beach access shown in the pics is unavailable and looks like it won’t be accessible any time soon. And 2. A house with a pool should have extra towels. There were 6 towels for 6 people. Seems like it would be pretty easy to add a stack of towels for convenience.

The house is cute, updated, and has a lot of areas where people can spread out. The pool area is beautiful as well. However, the cottage was extremely dusty and desperately needs a deep clean. The mattress protectors in the twin bed room were stained. The beach access was washed out, which we were not expecting so we had to walk to the one down the street. If the house were clean and beach access were available, we would absolutely rent again.
