Nestled along the tranquil shores of Jekyll Island Beach, this restored beachfront haven is the ultimate escape for those seeking a coastal vacation. The moment you arrive, you'll be greeted by the timeless beauty of this Cape Cod-style sanctuary, with the endless expanse of the ocean as your backdrop.

The first floor of this five-bedroom, three and a half bathroom retreat features a full kitchen, dining area, living room with the laundry room off the kitchen. The outdoor living space off of the main level of the house takes you to your private beachfront oasis. The spacious deck offers the perfect setting for al fresco dining, sunbathing, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee as you watch the sunrise. The spacious open living room includes both a queen and a full sleeper sofa.
The master is located on the ground level. Four guestrooms are all located on the second floor, along with one ensuite bathroom and one guest bath. There are two balconies, one located off of the two larger bedrooms that look out over the beach and ocean. Great for reading and relaxing. The second living area on this level provides additional space for lounging and watching TV. The open concept living spaces seamlessly flow together, creating an atmosphere that's both inviting and stylish.
When you're ready to explore, Jekyll Island's rich history and natural beauty await. Approximately 3.5 miles away, you will find the downtown area, where you can enjoy a number of restaurants and gift shops. This stretch will take you by many wonderful beaches as well. An easy 1.5 mile bike ride or walk the other direction will take you to one of the island's most famous beaches called Driftwood Beach. There are miles of pristine beaches, bike trails, hiking paths, throughout the island. If you are a nature lover, you will love Jekyll Island!
This home will allow pets with a $175 non-refundable pet fee.
The pool can be heated for $75 per day with a 3 day minimum. Please request in advance.
Do not cross the dunes behind the home. The garage is not accessible to guests.

Lets start with the positives: I liked the layout. Kids were upstairs and parents got the large master downstairs. The pool was perfect. We got it heated, which was great since it was cooler weather. Nice quiet neighborhood.Things I wish were better: This house needs some serious help in the kitchen. The dishwasher was absolutely disgusting and probably never cleaned. I left the dishes in there for 3 cycles and they never got cleaned. I ended up hand washing, which was a pain.The cookware was basically unusable unless you like pieces of teflon seasoning your food. Some stainless options would have been nice. We paid over 4k for this house and were provided with cookware that isnt even fit to sell at a Thriftstore. The water smells like a swamp. House needs a much better filter to take out the smell and hardness. Bring your own water for drinking, making coffee and brushing teeth.The dryer took forever to dry...I'm talking 3 hours to dry a small load of towels. The grill was pretty dirty as well. Its never been cleaned. Had layers of grease built up on the grates and all over the inside.There is no beach access anywhere close by. Im not sure when they took the pictures for the listing but the tide never got low enough to reveal any kind of beach. We had to drive to Great Dunes beach...Definitely not walking distance with beach accessories and kids.Downstairs shower flooded out the bathroom and into master. No drainage.

The property was clean and comfortable. The weather was terrible, but that was ok we enjoyed our stay. We were able to take our dog which was a plus. Would definitely stay here again.

The ocean was visible from the upper floors and easily accessible just down the street. The home was lovely with great common areas and outdoor spaces--including a very nice pool.
