A peaceful hidden gem with warm hosts, spotless rooms, and unforgettable breakfasts – simply 10/10!

From the moment we arrived at The Duck’s Cottage, we felt like we’d stumbled into a hidden gem. The location is serene and tucked away in nature, yet still conveniently close to Feltre’s attractions. Wilma is a superb hosts — warm, thoughtful, and always available to offer suggestions or help. Our room was beautifully furnished, cozy and spotless, with just the right balance of rustic charm and comfort. The breakfast deserves its own applause: fresh and abundant. It set the perfect tone for the morning. Quietness reigns here. If you want rest, you’ll have it. If you want company, you’ll get friendly conversation from your hosts. And the little touches — covered bike storage, peaceful garden corners, and that “home away from home” feel — make this place unforgettable. In short: 10/10. We’d go back in a heartbeat and recommend it to any traveler seeking calm, character, and genuine hospitality.

Adorable

The property is amazing and Wilma and her husband are amazing people. They take care about me like my family member! I was a solo travel around the area and they helped me to feel the place at home. I really had a good time there and I can not wait to go back and stay for more time .

Motorcycle trip to Italy, Austria and Slovenia

Great location, super host, clean, comfortable, and well appointed on suite room, amazing breakfast, and friendly atmosphere. We were met by Wilma on arrival, who was very welcoming and helpful. Our bikes were given a place undercover in a shed, which was much appreciated. After a long day riding, we didn't feel like going out to eat, so Wilma booked us a home delivery of pizza, salad, and a couple of beers. Nice touch. The room was very comfortable with a nice traditional balcony. The best was yet to come, though, with the best breakfast we had on the entire trip. It was a great way to start another full day on the bikes. Biker friendly and easy to get to, highly recommended.

We loved everything about our stay. Wilma, our host, was so helpful but in no way obtrusive. Our room was beautiful and the amenities were really amazing. And the breakfasts - Wow!! We could not have done better! Duck’s Cottage is gorgeous and well situated between the beauty of the Dolomites and the wonderful Prosecco region of NE Italy. Thanks for having us, Wilma and Gianni

Best stay ever.

The property’s location is amazing. it is in the country side quiet that all you hear is birds in the morning and crickets at night very therapeutic. Welma is an exceptional amazing host whom made me feel like at home with my family rather than a bed and breakfast facility. Will definitely visit again when in Italy. She also has an adorable boxer her name is Eva one of the sweetest kindest dogs you can ever meet. Thank you Welma for your incredible hospitality.

Rilassante soggiorno e ottima accoglienza

Struttura stupenda immersa nella tranquillità della natura. La signora Wilma è stata sempre disponibile e davvero gentile nell'ospitarci e nel fornirci tutte le indicazioni per un rilassante soggiorno. La colazione è stata una delle migliori mai provate da entrambi. Da consigliare assolutamente!
