Casa de Amigos, Island Townhome

Great house, lots of space. Very comfortable beds and 2 pillows each. Towels, beach towels and robes were provided. A lovely pool which we had to ourselves every time we used it. Very pretty location next to the water. Amazing rooftop area where we could watch the New Years Eve fireworks on the main beach and on the other resorts and islands. Great location for fishing and snorkelling as we were picked up right outside the house. A small ferry to cross to the mainland, the hosts were always really quick to take us across whenever we wanted. Parking was available on the mainland directly opposite.

Although it was nice being on an island it was also a downside having to get a ferry across every time. The ferry is manned 8am to 10pm so couldn't stay out late for New Year fireworks. Otherwise, this place was amazing. A long walk or short drive to the main village. Kitchen was not brilliantly equipped; not a full set of each of the plates, cups, glasses. No scissors.

Location was great, very quiet. Still was close to everything. Staff was friendly Place was clean and the surrounding grounds were well kept.

Had a few rain storms which is expected, however what was a not expected was all the leaks in the roof. Kitchen and living room both had bad leaks. We contacted the management Nd she came out took a look and said yes it is leaking, she would send someone out right away to have a look and see if there was anything they could do. No one ever showed up. I suggested maybe it would be easier if they just switched us to a different room but was told that she would have someone there to take care of it shortly. Got up the next morning and the kitchen floor was covered in water and fell going into the kitchen. Only had one TV upstairs, had a tv in the bedroom downstairs but the wall outlets did not work so there was no way to plug things in. Manager was a nice lady and I think she really wanted to help but had no idea what to do. The place is beautiful and on the surface seems well kept. Just need to do a little maintenance on the actual houses
