La grange de Sophie

Everything about this accommodation exceeded our expectations. We stayed for 7 nights with an 8-month-old and a 3-year-old, and it was absolutely perfect for our family. Sophie was an excellent host. She is friendly, helpful and welcoming. She also spoke English, which was a lovely bonus for us. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. What really stood out, though, was how incredibly well equipped the place was. There was genuinely everything you could possibly need for cooking, relaxing and keeping the children entertained: plenty of utensils and crockery, games for both little ones and older children as well as adults, cleaning supplies, and everything needed to keep the place tidy. For families, there was a great cot, high chair, baby plates and cutlery, which made travelling with a baby so much easier. Having grown up in Alsace and lived abroad for the past 11 years, I especially loved the authentic feel of the accommodation. The traditional Alsatian plates, cups and furniture gave it so much character, while it was still modern, comfortable and extremely well equipped. It felt like a genuine little Alsatian home rather than a generic holiday rental, which made the stay particularly special for me. The accommodation is located in Gimbrett, a lovely and peaceful little village. We really enjoyed the setting and the slower pace. One of our favourite little touches was the boulangerie truck that stopped in front of the accommodation in the mornings, selling fresh traditional pastries and excellent bread. When we arrived, there was also a lovely welcome waiting for us: a large bottle of local beer in the fridge, water, coffee capsules, homemade jam, and a whole selection of seasonings and other essentials. These thoughtful details made us feel at home straight away. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back. Highly recommended!

logements bien équipés, spacieux, bien décorés ce qui les rend "cosy". Le nécessaire mis à disposition du client pour les 1ers jours du séjour ( pastilles LV, papier toilette, capsules café, lessive...) Place de stationnement . Accueil , disponibilité de Sophie et conseils pour les visites.
