Wonderful location, well equipped property, comfy beds, and hot showers!

The location was excellent and the property was well maintained. A family larger than our own could comfortably stat at Le Dunant. We were happy to see the sizeable fridge, freezer (!), microwave, kettle, coffee and nespresso machine and a FULLY STOCKED kitchen with dishes and cooking utensils.

While there were some thoughtful touches, it would’ve made the stay truly perfect to have had sugar provided with our morning coffee and a maybe a small blanket for the living area / outside porch. Really minimal “complaints”.

Beautiful location! Room for improvement in other areas like cleanliness and comfort.

This rental is all about location! Great location right in Petit France of Strasbourg. Walking distance to everything one would wish to see, restaurants, and overlooking the canal. Nice patio on the canal for morning coffee or a glass of vino in the evenings. Some nice renovations to the apartment overall for what must be an older structure in a busy city. Host was accommodating.

Given some lovely renovations in the apartment to make it feel modern and luxurious, there were many things that could be improved upon. The beds were small and quite uncomfortable for a couple, as were the pillows. The quality of the bedding given the modern renovations was a bit of a disconnect, as it was older and quite worn. There was not any hot water, only lukewarm, to the point children could not shower due to being quite cold, and even I decided to pass on a shower until we reached our next destination (thankfully we were not staying long). Some of the facilities were not well cleaned, for example, the hot water kettle had a film built up on the inner lining, looking like a bacterial biofilm from lack of cleaning. I cleaned it so I could boil water for coffee. Several other dishes were dirty as well, and a prior guests socks were located on the floor in one of the rooms. It was fine for a short stay for a family, but if we had booked longer we would’ve been disappointed. It definitely feels like it is for younger groups traveling and don’t mind these compromises. I could imaging staying here in college with friends and feeling like I was living my best life, but with a family of 5…not so much.

Perfect stay in Strasbourg!

What a wonderful place to stay in Strasbourg! It is evident that thought and effort have been put in to provide guests with a great and easy stay. Everything was clean. The kitchen was well equipped and had basic groceries such as oil, salt and coffee. The view from the terrace was lovely and shops, restaurants etc all within walking distance.

The owners are very enthusiastic and have provided a lot of help. It is definitely worth living here! There are many tableware and pots in the kitchen, which is very suitable for friends to cook and have dinner here

Perfect base for a family or group to explore La Petite France and Strasbourg.

Great location on a canal looking across to La Petit France. Large place that can easily sleep a group. Fully equipped kitchen including a coffee maker and Nespresso, a five minute walk from parking, super clean and recently remodeled. excellent instructions for finding the apartment and using the keypad entry, a large outdoor terrace, just down the street from a boulangerie, walking distance to market and all the restaurants in La petite France and even a washer/dryer.

Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. It was exactly how it was portrayed in the picture, great for groups and/or families, the place was very clean and the location was great. We would stay here again if we decide to go back to Strasbourg!
