We stopped for only one night and it met our needs, despite a tricky access on arrival.

Central location was great for walking around the town.

Access proved difficult because there was no-one on reception, and you needed to call a phone number and we were travelling with esims only with wifi calling facilities.

The building was tired and needs renovation. The electrical socket down the side of the bed had no cover on it.

The room had no external window or other ventilation and the room was like an oven which didn’t cool down during the night, the worst night in a hotel ever!

More serviced room than hotel

The hotel has limited staff. Rather than a hotel, this is serviced accommodation with breakfast. They expected to do everything online, and as I dont travel with a smartphone ot IT on holiday, this is a pain, so I just ignored it. No one tells you where your room is, or is available for anything else, unlesd you ring.

Proper staff. Covid seems to have been an excuse for hospitality to forget they are supposed to be hospitable. Someone to greet you, allow access to the premises, answer your questions and tell you some nice places to go would be tbe minimum most travellers expect.

Nice overnight stay with an extremely friendly host.

Location was centrally located to walk to shopping and restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was very quiet and we got a great night of sleep. The best part was our host. I regrettably did not get his name but he was extremely friendly and hospitable. He chatted with us a bit over breakfast and he was lovely. Very nice man who helped us feel welcomed and cared for.

Very warm welcome when we arrived by bike with the whole family. Breakfast was excellent and with enough choice.

not enough parking we chose this as we were in transit and only 5 spaces we had to park on road which was ok as free but our car was vandalised during the night not serious but would impact our decision to stay in this area again!

The breakfast was fine and bed quality/bathroom cleaningness was good.

We rent a standard room during the lunch for the same day. We waited 1.30 hours in front of the hotel buzzing and ringing the phone line. No one answered and it was cold and rainy. Fortunately, a cleaning that was leaving open the door. We asked for our room and the reception. She didn't know what to do, and couldn't get anyone on phone despite many try. She finally gave us some keys of a room that wasn't a standart one. It was tiny with no window except one in the atrium where everyone was passing and it was extremely noisy. People were drinking and listening music until 11pm without anyone on place to ask them to be quieter. I sent a message to the property, no one answered so far. Really disappointed of this poor experience.

Very nice and relaxing

It was clean and easy to access. We we’re camping near by but out tent got flooded due to the heavy rain so we had to book a last minute stay. It was exactly what we needed, large room with a large bathroom. Perfect place to just readjust after such a trip.

I would not stay here again.

Location , the room and the bathroom had good lighting due to the big windows. Coffee and tea was provided in the room. Breakfast was available at 7:00.

The owner was rude to my daughter when she requested a different room on the second floor. The hotel was deserted and he couldn’t accommodate that request. He called my daughter “stupid American “ needless to say my daughter ended up leaving the hotel and went else where. The outside, the lobby and the hallways look old and not taken care of.

the staff were very friendly and helpful!

We were greatly disappointed when we arrived at the hotel. Booked a parking spot on the hotel premises two months in advance, to discover upon arrival the spot was in fact not available (even after they sent confirmation two days earlier). on a Saturday afternoon in the city center it was not easy to find annavailable parking spot! All of this caused delays in our planning. Moreover, my mother who is not very mobile had to walk quite some distance between the hotel and the car. The hotel itself has definitely seen better days, it’s pretty run down and needs an urgent makeover. The lighting in the rooms, especially in the bathroom, is not sufficien (and a bit eary), I could hardly put on any make-up, because it was so dark in the bathroom. No storage or hooks whatsoever in the bathroom.

The breakfast is delicious. The place is very convenient for securing bicycles and e-bikes for cyclists who are touring. The room is very cozy. The bed is very comfortable. The hotel itself is perfect for going out to explore for sight seeing.
