Great stay ... lucky I came across it

Beautiful breakfast, good bread, cheese, cold cuts, eggs - freshly served coffee, most of all gorgeous breakfast room, eccentricly decorated, old and new, very charming, high ceilings, old palais style. Lovely ... dogs allowed !

Laakdal is a recently created community, so it lakes anything truly exciting .... besides this beautiful B&B ! I had a mosquito in my room who insisted to spend the night there .... bad mosquito !

A perfect stay

The first thing you notice is the amazing decor of the beautiful old building, which surprisingly is carried over inside the modern accommodation building next door. We received a warm welcome with a glass of apple juice and were shown to our well equipped and very comfortable room. Although we didn't have dinner, we saw a couple of meals being served and they looked delicious. There was a good spread for breakfast the next morning. There is an excellent small wellness area with outdoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Great value for money.

Beautiful location, amazing and tasteful room, excellent jacuzzi and sauna, very nice pool and garden and the breakfast was very good. The owners were very helpful and polite. All together we had an awesome stay and we love to go back to this B@B again in the future.

The minibar in the room makes some noise which can disturb the sleep.

A nice place for a short get away for R&R with a pool and jacuzzi

The jacuzzi was nice, the breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

The dinner was not good and VERY expensive for what we ate. I also thought that the upstairs room was a bit dangerous because there was a small step down next to a huge glass window pane that was hard to see.

Probably the nicest B&B we've ever stayed at. The property and facilities really were exceptional - very tastefully done, and with lovely gardens, terrace, and wellness facilities. Room was beautiful, the bed extremely comfortable and the breakfast (and service) was exceptional. We had dinner one evening - excellent food, service, ambiance in the garden, etc. Couldn't fault anything here at all. The oysters from the homarium were fantastic too - a lovely touch! Enjoyed this place very, very much.

Only one issue would be that the airco in the room didn't reach the upper mezzanine level (where the kids were sleeping) so well and it was very warm up there. A fan would have been useful. Then again we had an exceptionally warm week and perhaps that's not necessary for the majority of the time. Price-wise the food and drink is on the high side but this, in my opinion, is not a negative - those prepared to pay for quality and service will definitely not be disappointed.

Lovely stay in this little castle!

We absolutely fell in love with the building and the staging! Our hosts were so kind! Breakfast was banana’s! So good! We were served like royals! We would totally recommend this place.

Ein ganz besonderes Hotel!

Das Hotel ist einzigartig. Wir wurden herzlich mit einem Welcome Drink empfangen. Im Hauptgebäude, wo auch das Frühstück stattfindet, fühlt man sich wie in einem Schloss. Es ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt. Der überdachte Whirlpool war unser Highlight in diesem Hotel.

Recensie – Art of Dreams (29.11–30.11), Suite Van Gogh

We verbleven één nacht in de Suite Van Gogh en het was echt een fantastische ervaring. De kamer was luxueus maar toch warm en gezellig, precies die combinatie die je meteen doet ontspannen. De sfeer in de kamer was supertof en we waren heel blij met het bubbelbad – dat maakte het relaxmoment helemaal compleet. Het bed was heerlijk zacht… eerlijk gezegd het beste bed waarin ik ooit heb geslapen. 🙈 De enige kleine tegenvaller was het ontbijt, dat iets minder was dan verwacht. Maar in het totaalplaatje weegt dat heel weinig door, want de rest van het verblijf was absoluut top. De gastheer was heel aangenaam, vriendelijk en zorgde voor een warme ontvangst. Ik ben superblij met deze ervaring en kan dit hotel aan iedereen aanraden. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Fantastische B&B in de buurt van Thermen Hezemeer

Alles was prachtig en het overtrof onze verwachtingen. Wat een leuke B&B is dit. Heerlijk gezwommen, sauna gepakt en toen in de jacuzzi. Ook heerlijk 's avonds gegeten en ontbijt was verrukkulluk :-) Een hele mooie slaapkamer. Ik kan iedereen aanraden hier te overnachten. Zeker als je een dagje Hezemeer doet!

Schitterende locatie ,alles aanwezig om een zeer aangename tijd door te brengen. Top!

Geweldige locatie ,mooie kamers en zeer vriendelijke uitbaters. Het prachtige zwembad was top na een fietstocht van 50 km. Diner s'avonds was ook zeer goed.

Eigenlijk niks alleen dat er op de kamer geen ramen open kunnen. Het was een warme nacht , er is wel airco, maar toch liever een open raam s'nachts.
