The location was excellent. The room was fairly clean.
The room was so small that there was only 20cm to squeeze between the corner of the bed and the desk. The matress was hard. One of the bedside lamps didn't work. The "large" toilet flush didn't work. There was no proper door to the bathroom - sort of like a saloon gate, that didn't extend to the ceiling of the floor, and didn't close. There is basically no acoustic insulation: sounds from the hallway or other rooms are very audible.

Good location and room size (in superior room).
The breakfast was beyond disappointing- we asked for a refund and ate elsewhere. The selection was the poorest I’ve seen, cool counter was not keeping items chilled and breakfast basics like cereal, sliced bread, pastries were not available. We stayed in room 8 (a superior room located at the front of the hotel). We were kept awake until 5am with the bar on the square playing loud club music. The room was bare with no pictures or art, also the door to the bathroom was a saloon style door that had a foot gap at the top and bottom providing no privacy. The swing back and forth was hazardous, if you follow someone into the bathroom, watch out for the swing back of the door.

Good location, firm mattress, good shower
Located right above a restaurant which meant it was noisy and smelly with cigarettes and oil late into the night and first thing in the morning

Check in was superb, along with the room, staff polite and friendly, can't really ask for much more!
Nothing, everything was perfect.

In theory the location was good being close to the BMCC one way and close to the centre the opposite way.
There were three areas of disappointment:
1. The noise around the hotel was unacceptable. I was in room 5, ie at the back/side with a view over a small road, not the main square, however, this was incredibly noisy, even with double glazing. Unfortunately it was noisy from 6.20 am during weekdays, as building work was going on, but also noisy well into the early hours as a shop opposite the window was open late.
2. There was no air con. It was humid. You could not open the windows as the noise then was incredibly loud. A machine to provide cold air was provided, but that was almost as noisy as opening the window, so not used.
3. There was no true reception thus, on arrival, going through the associated restaurant, I eventually found somebody, but I did not see another person behind the reception desk in the 4 days I was there and, on leaving, I just dropped off the keys into a receptacle.

Location, size of the room and the bathroom
AC works badly, also the tv and the safety box didnt work

Location was perfect, it is near the city centre and all the amenities.
Mattress and pillows were a disaster, very uncomfortable. The size of the room was such that to was hard to move around. For me, the comfortable bed was a key as I visited Bruges for a training and was physically very tired. Sleeping at Lace did not help.

The property was right in the center of Brugge.
You could hear everything from outside, the staff did not clean our room.

Location and good price
Walls and doors are a bit thin so you can hear everyone who walks past your room

1. Great location, up to 20 minutes walk to the train station. Located in the center, near many shops and cozy restaurants. The view from the window on the city.
2. The room is the same as in the photo. The room has all the listed amenities.
3. The breakfast is not very diverse, but it is tasty and corresponds to its price. Delicious and fresh croissants and bread
1. The leg of the bed is slightly broken, which made the bed tilt when you sit on it. We put it in place ourselves.
2. In the bathroom, the drain in the sink was not working properly. The water went away for a long time. In the rest, normal wear and tear on some items due to humidity (probably)
3. it would be good to add an electric kettle to the room)

Good location, close to the main streets. Room is quite big. Breakfast is also good.

Was initially skeptical given previous reviews- it’s clearly a 2/3 star hotel but for our stay everything was clean and comfortable. A very big bonus for us was the fan in the room, my family stayed at another nearby hotel (more expensive) in Bruge without this facility. Also secure with locked doors to the hotel entrance at night. Would stay again and good value for the price.
Only one pillow each on the bed, two each would have been preferable. Two single beds pushed together instead of a double but this is typical for the area and price.

I had a great view of the church from my room. About a 20 minute walk to center of town. Burger, fries, and drink for 8 euro across the street.

Location is good, 7-minute walk to the center, 2-minute walk to a bus stop. The room views to a beautiful square.
The bathroom is very old and small

The location was great: we could easily reach the centre by foot, and it was quite close from the station as well.
The room itself wasn't too bad, albeit oldish.
I disliked the bathroom - no idea why in an allegedly old-fashioned hotel one would install a plastic eco-toilet type of bathroom. It was unpleasant to use, as the plastic was yellow, and in some places - cracked. The shower curtain was barely attached to the ceiling, and was about to fall down any moment.
Moreover, the toilet was broken, so we couldn't fall asleep at night because of the sound of the running water.
i even saw someone's hair on the "clean" towels.
Although the room was on the cheap side (for Brugge standards), the hotel wasn't a good value for money.

Location is great, check in and check out was easy
The room needs updating. Curtains had holes, under bed was not cleaned, TV controller was dirty and disgusting to touch.
During breakfast on the 2nd of October, I was served orange juice bottle with green mould on the sides of the bottle, packed ham and yoghurt was out of date (use by date was 30/9/2022 which was 2 days ago!). I'm 7 months pregnant so lucky I noticed the mould in orange juice!
Our beds were different heights and mattress toppers kept sliding leaving a big gap in the middle of 'double bed', bed under sheets was stained, the wardrobe was broken with broken shelves left in there.

very clean, quite and friendly personal
the room had smelled like in a swimming pool. a strong smel after chlor.. and the pictures of the hotel are not right, so the room is not in new condition like the pictures tells you
