Enjoy nature watching from the front porch or along the walking trails throughout. Evening cocktails and bonfires in the grain bin gazebo where it is always “one more then no more”. We are minutes from the World Shooting Recreational Complex and Pyramid State Park. Lots to do and see in Southern Illinois. Visit Giant City State Park and the many wineries and breweries. Great place not too far from Sparta. Stayed for the AIM Grand and it was a great location. Easy drive to the range with several little towns between with great local eating establishments. Great kitchen and family room.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the barndo. The upgrades and detail to this home are top tier. The decor is perfection, every room was immaculate, but homey. It had everything you could possibly need- kitchen/cooking, bathroom/toiletries, comfort, etc. The beds were so comfortable, the bedding/towels were fantastic. The outdoor area is amazing, if it was a little chilly, we built a fire. We sat outside watching tv or listening to nature. It’s quiet and beautiful. Tons of acreage to walk (we brought our two boxers who have endless energy) and we walked for hours each day. Denise is very attentive and helpful. She offered an early check-in which helped us greatly. She responded quickly and gave suggestions of places to try. You feel very much in the middle of nowhere, but town is just ten minutes away! It was exactly what we needed and we can’t wait to go back!

If I was to describe this place in one word - MAGICAL!
Absolutely an AMAZING place! I seriously can’t say enough great things about our experience here. First of all the hosts, Denise and her husband, are beyond incredible! Their thoughtfulness and attention to every single detail is evident. From the booking of this perfect slice of Heaven, to checkout, everything was flawless! Beautiful location, secluded, peaceful, great trails, Super clean, Beautiful decor, attention to details… Perfect! Best of all we were able to enjoy this perfect place with our fur children. Thank You SO much Denise for Everything!! In hopes we are invited back, we will for sure become regular guests.
