For everyone’s peace of mind, our property is equipped with one outdoor security camera located above the garage. It’s a small light camera that records video and audio of the driveway and entrance door area only.
This helps us keep the property safe and well-monitored between guest stays—ensuring everything is just as welcoming and well cared for when you arrive.
There are no cameras inside the home or in any private spaces, so you can relax and enjoy your stay with complete privacy.

My wife and I wanted to escape the last throws of Wisconsin winter, and hike some of the amazing state forests and canyons in Missouri & Illinois. Jordan & Cassie provided the perfect home base for us to make our daily hiking excursions, only to return to the hot tub in the evening to watch the stars and soak. Great location in a quiet neighborhood that was close to many areas of interest.We attended the Jour de Fete festival in St. Genevieve—hopping on Highway 61 at the bottom of the hill had us there in 10 minutes. One of the bathrooms had two sets of grab bars in the step-thru tub access shower. It would be perfect for anyone with mild balance/stability concerns.Beds were comfortable and vintage decor very 60s. Bathrooms and bedrooms very clean. Kitchen could use additional cleaning of wall tile and interior of lower cabinets, as well. Not a deal breaker, though. We would stay here again. Cassie was very responsive to questions.If you’re a birder, we saw red headed woodpeckers each morning while outside for breakfast at the patio table and one morning a pileated woodpecker. Fun and unusual sighting!
