About 50m away is the main street with the best restaurants, bars, shops, banks, and supermarkets, all very close to home. The nearby surroundings offer a wide range of sporting and recreational activities such as surfing, jet skiing, paragliding, zip-lining, excursions to the rainforest with squad or jeep, canoeing, rafting, whale watching, and deep-sea fishing for Marlin. At night, there are discos and bars with live music.

The house was beautiful inside and out. Each bedroom was unique and had great views. The back patio was a great place to relax as well as the hammocks on the side. The birds and monkeys were fun to watch. The driveway is very steep going down to the house but we found parking across the street.

We had issues with the AC. Many of the rentals in Quepos have daily on site house managers and care takers. This one does not.
