This apartment was everything we were hoping for: comfortable, clean and close to attractions. Frédérique’s apartment is quiet, and we were easily able to walk to the castle, restaurants and shops, as well as walking from the train station to her place. We loved being able to shop at a nearby grocery store to pick up what we wanted to have for breakfast, and her kitchen had all we needed. Loved the little extras !

I enjoyed my stay here very much. The apartment is convenient to everything in Avignon. I walked miles every day around the city and beyond. The little boat that goes across the Rhône is close and super easy to get to trails to ride a bicycle or a walk. The owner is wonderful.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and found ithe apartment spacous and very well equipped . The location was absolutely excellent, a few minutes walk from the Palais du Papes and all the restaurants and shops..Frèderique was an excellent host who made sure we had everything we needed.

The apartment is spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. The appliances work well, linens are generous as are dishes. The apartment is close to tourist venues but in a quiet neighbourhood. Our hostess, Frédérique was charming and gave us excellent advice for restaurants and day trips, and invaluable taxi assistance.

We stayed here in February, and the WiFi connection was weak and intermittent, but still usable. Now it is non existent in the bedroom, and extremely difficult to connect in the rest of the apartment. Too slow to stream movies, and downloads take 2 hrs. No point discussing this with the host, the answer you get is “well no one has complained before " I am sure that at some point this rental was acceptable, but now it is dated, needs a major overhaul, and a good cleaning. Don’t consider this rental for long term, the mattress is terribly uncomfortable, and the pillows have seen better days.

This quaint fully loaded apartment was the perfect place to explore the old city of Avignon. The only consideration is parking nearby is very difficult. But then parking in Europe is generally difficult! There is free parking but it is about a mile from the apartment so if At least one person in your party loves the walk this is the perfect place for you. Saturday markets are lovely the stores are lovely and everyone including Federica was amazing and nice!

Great property, great location and a wonderful hostess. Frederique was VERY accommodating. She worked with us when we arrived late, and helped us communicate and deal with cabs. The place was perfect for a couple and the air conditioning was fantastic!

Frederique, the host, met us on check-in and went over all of the apartment's amenities. She gave us a city map and advice on local restaurants. She is simply one of the nicest people we have met in our travels. The bed was especially comfortable and everything was clean and in order. Just note that the location is a ways from the train station, so you will want to take a taxi.

Frederique was a fantastic host, met with us and provided plenty of suggestions for us to consider. The property was about 13 min walk from a hige free parking. Everything was within 20 mins walk inside the city walls, so no driving required! The property had everything needed for a long stay and comfortable stay, near bakeries, restaurants and bars. Definitely recommend to others!

Frederique was very prompt in getting back to us with any questions we had. She greeted us on our schedule and oriented us to the apartment. She left us a bottle of wine, local treats and a variety of drinks in the refrigerator. The house itself was very charming and comfortable. We really enjoyed being within the walls and just a short distance to everything. It gave us a sense of what it might feel like living there. It was obvious that Frederique wants her guests to have a great stay. Interaction with such a kind person was also a highpoint!

This is a great apartment in a quiet neighborhood in the town of Avignon. You can walk just about anywhere in town, but be careful to know your way back. Our only problem was that we got lost once trying to return. Luckily, the GPS in my phone led us right to the street. The apartment is clean and beautiful with a large living/dining area, bright, well-equipped kitchen, big bathroom and nice bedroom. Frederique, the owner, was not available to meet us, so her son Nicholas came and let us in and oriented us to the apartment. He was very thorough and friendly. We were only here for 2 nights, but we would have liked to have stayed longer. It would be a wonderful get-away for a week or 2 of quiet relaxation. There's even air conditioning if it's very hot at night. If you have allergies to scents, let Frederique know ahead of time and she could remove the vanilla scented oils from the apartment. We put them outside on the window sill, as my husband has allergies to scents, especially vanilla. We highly recommend this apartment!

I wanted accommodation that would be convenient for exploring the old town and this was perfect. It was within easy walking distance of everything. The rooms were spacious and everything was clean. Though we did not use the kitchen, it had everything you would need for cooking a meal. Frederique is a charming and considerate host. Our trip was a retirement treat, and in recognition of this, she had a bottle of champagne on ice for us. She provided maps, tourist information and personal recommendations to help us. For us it was an added bonus that she speaks such good English. We were very happy here and would recommend this accommodation. Thank you, Frederique!

We only stayed for one night (driving through to our holiday destination) but the hostess, Frederiquè, was pleasant and helpful recommending places to eat and visit in Avignon on our arrival. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The cosy furnishings and quiet location make it an excellent option for a romantic weekend in two or a family getaway. Two friends sharing the apartment for 16 days, one in the bedroom the other in the living room on the pullout sofa bed, both very comfortable. Very quiet neighbourhood, didn’t need ear plugs. The little Balladin electric bus stopped right outside our door for convenient travel around town. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed and Frederique was a very kind and accommodating host. We highly recommend this property for your stay in lovely Avignon. This a lovely apartment in a house with only two apartments. It is extremely well decorated with art works, ceramics, glass and all sorts of interesting artifacts. All the rooms are tastefully furnished and the kitchen is the best equipped of any rental I have stayed in. The location is walking distance to all the sites we wanted to visit and we couldn’t get over how well-lit the streets were when we walked home at night. We were able to park close by each night and overnight parking is free. Actually you only have to pay for 6 hours each day. Frederique was an amazing owner and host, easy to communicate before we arrived and extremely helpful and available once we were there. When visiting Avignon, I would highly recommend this apartment

Frederique was so great to work with, very easy to reach by email, quick to respond. She met us at the apartment, even waited for us after we got lost on one way streets in town. The apartment was large and well decorated, comfortable furniture and nice king size bed, you could cook anything in the well appointed kitchen. The bedroom was in the back of the apartment, was very quiet and dark, had a window and air conditioner. The apartment is on a quiet residential street but conveniently located in town, we walked everywhere and left our car parked at Les Italians, the free parking. The apartment was clean, had everything you needed for a vacation home. We look forward to coming back again!

The owner of this charming flat is so gracious and nice! We put in our request to rent this flat at the 'last minute' ( our travel plans had changed) and she was very prompt in her response which relieved our stress immensely. She met us at the flat and answered any questions that we had. And she had instructions written out for the use of the television, stove, etc and information on restaurants and more. So great! The flat was wonderful! Very clean and bright; well equipped kitchen; spacious living area; nice bedroom space and good sized bathroom. And, it is in a perfect location to be able to walk and explore the beautiful town of Avignon! We would definitely want to rent this flat again and stay longer next time!

We wanted to spend time in Avignon at the end of our vacation and had never been to this city. Had we known that we had rented such a pretty and comfortable flat from the owner, we would have stayed longer which we intend to, in the near future. It was a very nice and quiet neighborhood! We very much enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, well-equipped. spotless, and very well-located apartment in Avignon. It is owned and managed by a terrific family who have given it that personal touch we appreciate. Communication and booking were easy and meeting the owners was a real pleasure. The description and photos of the apartment are 100% accurate. The apartment consists of three rooms: a kitchen with absolutely everything you need to prepare and serve a snack or a full meal, including full size refrigerator and freezer, stove and oven, micro, electric kettle; a comfortable combination lounge/dining room with table for 6, a large sofa bed and flat screen TV; a large bedroom and a large bath with shower over tub and separate WC. Windows in living room and kitchen overlook a narrow, cobble stone street. The apartment is very quiet, especially the bedroom. Best of all, it is located within a short walk of everything you will want to see in Avignon--the Pope's Palace and all monuments, grocery stores, cafes, shops of all sorts. It's the perfect base from which to see this amazing city. We felt fortunate to have this one.

Photos and description are 100% accurate. Booking and communication were easy and meeting the owners was a pleasure. Nice linens and lots of towels. Windows in kitchen and living room overlook a very typical narrow street. The flat and particularly the bedroom are very quiet. Best of all, it's a short walk to everything you want to see in Avignon, the Pope's Palace and all monuments, squares and cafes, bakeries, grocery stores, shops of all sorts.
