This hotel is very unique by its location and hospitality. Great food and even better selection of wines on the list.
Only one hard surface road to get there which navigation is (for me for unknown reason) trying to avoid. Other roads are dusty.

The facility was beautiful. Most of the staff was very personalble and receptive. "Joe" was extremely helpful! Got to meet the Chef and we talked about food procurement, local gardening and supply.

Bad start to the stay and was hard to get over. It was my wifes birthday so for us we "splurgged" and booked the Junior suit which showed a picture of a walk out patio. Upon check in we where given a room on the second floor with a window. After an hour of debate they gave us an option of staying in a room with a balcony over looking the courtyard at "no additonal charge". It was a nice room. But to have to argue upon the stay left a bad taste in our mouth.
The daily maid service was not what we expected. Sheets not changed. Coffee area not replenished and poorly cleaned. Some towels not exchanged.
Tried to get coffee at 6:30 from restaruant and was denied. Even though they started working at 5;30 so I knew they had some coffee available. (I'm a stupid early riser and like to watch operations...LOL).
For us (because we traveled so much sight seeing)....we would have been better off saving some money and not staying some where that is trying to be "fancy".
