About this house rental
Large beach house with guest house perfect for family get always. Hang out at the beach all day, use the pool, play tennis and then gather around the huge dining room table for dinner. After dinner relax with s’mores by the fire pit. Visit the Washington Park Zoo, casinos, breweries and wineries close by.
Enter the lake house through the lower level with an inviting sofa, tv, small ping pong table shuffleboard game. There's also a large king bedroom and a full bathroom on this level. Go up the stairs into the large living room with all glass doors over looking Lake Shore Drive, galley kitchen and large dining table. The table is enormous and can seat 12. It is perfect for dinner or a night of playing board games. The kitchen has stainless appliances and a coffee bar with a beverage fridge and wine cooler. There is also another sitting area with 65 inch tv and a powder room. When you go up the stairs to the bedrooms you can choose from the king with an ensuite and a balcony with views of Lake Michigan or one of the queen bedrooms which also have balconies. There is a full bathroom in the hall and a washer and dryer tucked away in a closet. Climb one more set of stairs and there is a loft area with 5 twin beds for the kids.
The property is located in a resort community. There are fines if rules are broken and the fees will be passed on to the renter.
Quiet time begins at 10pm
Never leave the firepit unattended when there is a fire goings
Replace metal cover before leaving fire pit unattended
No smoking or vaping indoors
No pets
No parties
No bachelor/ bachelorettes or prom parties allowed
No fireworks
You must be 25 years old to rent and be present the entire time
Weekly rentals during peak season from Saturday to Saturday

Beautiful home hosted two families- one with 7 kids, the other with 6. All had a great time by day in Lake Michigan and by evening in the house.

This was a fabulous place! The kitchen facilities were great. It had everything we could’ve asked for. The 2 beverage coolers were a plus. We had a group of 14 including children ages 18 months to 10 years old and it fit us beautifully. The kids loved the upstairs bunk room with all the single beds. There were plenty of bathrooms for all. The outdoor shower was great for rinsing off the kids after coming back from the sandy beach. The outdoor spaces allowed the kids to play and the parents to sit and chat. Parking was OK we were able to fit 4 SUVs.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Family Tides beach house in Michigan City! It was enough room for all of us to stay and sleep comfortably. Great amenities and amazingly close location to the beach. We loved being able to go do things but also have down time and time with our group catching up. Colleen was an amazing host and quick to respond and incredibly helpful! We all have talked about staying here again with other friends or bringing out families on a family trip as well. Absolutely wonderful!
