Close to Center Parcs Longford - Entire House

It was quite peaceful and had everything we needed

Lovely modern house in peaceful safe location. Very relaxing ambience. House so well equipped. Will definitely return. Very efficient communication with hosts.

Everything perfect

Everything was just right-in fact, beyond my expectations. Hosts were available but not intrusive. The home was extremely comfortable and the surroundings were wonderful. I don't usually have a faultless review to send but this home was an exception. I hope to stay there again. Thank you John and Lorraine

The house itself is impressive and has clearly been decorated and furnished to a good standard originally. There are some lovely design touches throughout, and I imagine it was particularly nice when it was first completed. The property has a lot of potential and, with a little more attention to maintenance could be a really lovely place to stay.

The property actually has the potential to be a really nice place to stay, but unfortunately it felt as though a little extra care and attention was needed, particularly considering the price, which I found quite high as a solo traveller. Overall, the house felt a little run down in places. There were quite a few cracked tiles, cracked cups, pots and pans were older - the living-room carpet had a number of stains. The stair carpets could also have been cleaner, and there were some dead flies around, although I appreciate that this can be an issue at this time of year. The bathroom didn't feel properly finished after cleaning and still had bleach in it when I arrived. There were no toiletries provided, although that wasn't a particular problem for me. The kitchen also had what seemed to be an "everything drawer", containing various bits and pieces that appeared to have been left over from construction or maintenance of the house. A good clear-out and a little more attention to the overall presentation would make a considerable difference. Parking is very close to the road, and I did feel slightly uncomfortable about the car at times because I saw a number of vehicles passing quite quickly and pulling in or moving around parked cars to avoid oncoming traffic. The doors were also quite tricky to lock, which took some getting used to. It's a shame, because with some maintenance, a deeper clean and a little more attention to detail, this could be a lovely property. At the price charged, though, I would have expected the overall standard and finish to be better.
