Suited our needs, the view
Security- there was none as anyone could enter the property. The reason why we chose it was secure parking

We stayed in unit 1. What a stunning place! It was neat and clean and we appreciated the crisp white linen and towels. Everything we needed was there and the view on the dam is incredible! We will definately go back to Gariepview and we highly recommend it!

The location overlooking Gariep dam was awesome.
I was told I needed to use a code to get into the room. The unit was open, and the pad where you enter the code wasn't working. I was immediately uncomfortable. The soap dispensers barely dispensed soap. The one in the shower appeared to be broken. The gate entering the property was on a track. One had to get out the car open and close them manually. That was unpleasant when I left in the rain on the dy of departure. Lastly, other people in the complex were still partying at 1.30 in the morning in the pool. There should be a "no noise after 9 pm" like other places have.
