Good value for money. Center of El Médano is walking distance. Spacious enough. Private parking. Flexibility with check-out time.

Some esthetic details could be improved (there are damages here and there), it doesn’t come across as super neat. You seem to hear everything that anyone else is doing in the building (from 6am onwards).

The apartment is in quite a convenient part of town; the host was kind in letting me check-in early; he communicated well mostly and tried to resolve the problems that I encountered in the apartment. The apartment is a good size and has a reasonably comfy bed and pillows. The cleaner was very nice and the apartment was clean

The access reminded me of the Crypton Factor - a series of puzzles to find and unlock. The concrete building has very poor sound-proofing with very noisy neighbours next door and upstairs and screaming kids playing outside - so it was very difficult to work from - though was quiet at night. The fridge made a terrible noise at points and the owner did offer to replace it but it would be the next day as he lives far away. When I reported the Induction hob wouldn’t work and I couldn’t cook, I was told to try harder! So I couldn’t use it for 2 days until my friend who I spoke to about it, worked out ‘Lo’ meant locked (so clearly the owner didn’t know how the appliance worked otherwise he could have advised me sooner - a manual is required) . I eventually managed to unlock it and use it on the final day of my stay. Likewise, I could only get 8 radio channels on the TV but no Tv programmes or Netflix etc.. the final straw was waking up at 4.20am to find a giant cockroach running across the bedroom floor (despite regular fumigation). Unfortunately, no products were supplied to deal with the creature and I had quite a traumatic time trying to remove it from the shuttered apartment in the middle of the night. Although the owner was very nice and apologetic, no compensation was offered. Sadly, due to my experiences, I cannot leave a more positive review, as there are issues that need resolving and indeed, the owner needs ‘to try harder’
