The building

The host, Vlado, was very responsive, helpful, fast and altogether great in communication. The location in terms of distance to the city centre and attractions is good - it's a 7-10min walk. no brainer. There is indeed a free parking lot just opposite the house entry. Hot water is in tact, amenities generally are totally fine and even some starter-kit toothbrush&co supplies. The apartment is taken care of well and it suits a family of 4 (2 kids) for a night.

it's an old house without an elevator and the apt is on the 3rd or 4th floor (don't remember exactly, pardon). the area is an old residential one with no fine view out of the window, don't expect much on that side. the aircon is old, needs some cleaning and - on such hot days - probably should be switched on a few hours before the guests arrive, because otherwise you'll spend the first 4 hours trying to cool down the apt. even on max power. The price! we paid 180 euro (CASH ONLY) for the night, which is absolutely insane for this property in this very location. i am a regular traveler around the globe and Europe specifically, and this just cannot cost more than 80 euro. This seems to be a common problem in Croatian cities near the sea during peak season. Nothing to do here except for trying to avoid staying in cities along the coast.

Schöne, voll ausgestattete Wohnung, 10 Gehminuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt
