Vanessa was a great host. Super helpful, really responsive, and generous with her time during communication. She made the check in process simple for us, and was waiting at the door when we arrived. Checkout was contactless so no issues there either. Transfer from Malaga airport is simple - I'd recommend a taxi rather than a train if you have a reasonable amount of baggage, as the nearest train station is around 20 minute walk. Car only takes about 15/20 mins, we used an Uber.
The location is pretty much perfect. Short walk to the marina, beach and bars, 10 minutes walk up to Arroyo de la Miel, and everywhere in between is reachable if you're willing to put in a short amount of time!
The room / space itself is perfect, so relaxing and lots of outside space. The pool is surprisingly big, and deep at the deep end. You'd be on your tiptoes if you were 6 foot. There's a kitchen with a fridge with freezer compartment, a portable hob (which we could only get working with one of the pans but that was good enough for us), toaster, toastie maker, microwave, kettle, coffee machine maybe even an ice cream maker but not sure what that was for sure! There wasn't a hammock up when we went that we saw in the pics fyi, maybe that'll go up again at some point?
Separate bathroom with a shower toilet and sink. Comfortable double bed in the bedroom, and the option to convert the sofa into a sofa bed I believe if you want another couple to stay, but there isn't a physical door between the living space and the bedroom so your separator between the two bedrooms would essentially be a sliding wooden partition, perhaps there's another solution for that but it wasn't needed for us as we went as a couple, and it's a perfect space for a couple visiting Benalmadena / Malaga. Living space has a tv with a fire stick plugged in if you want it, and a desk, while the kitchen area has a good round dining table.
One warning here is you can see who is in the shower through the curtain over the bathroom door if the light is right / wrong! This is because of the material being using over the glass door that goes through to the bathroom. I imagine it's the same through the window curtain looking down to the road, at least at night time, but the road is a drop from the apartment and it never caused us an issue.
Probably would not recommend if you have mobility issues as there's a staircase you need to take to get to the bungalow, FYI.
Word of warning about the middle door in the apartment - as long as you're aware of this and cautious you will be ok - it would be possible to lock yourselves in the bedroom / living space if you leave the key outside or in the kitchen / bathroom, because the middle door has a separate metal door that locks shut when you pull it to, so you need to make sure you bring the key in to the living room / bedroom with you if you plan on shutting that door!! As I don't believe there was a handle, or way to open that door without a key, so be careful.
I want to be clear though - I hugely recommend Bungalow Aloha, especially for a couple for a relaxing stay in Benalmadena, with a private pool and quick walking access to the rest of the town. We stayed 9 nights and would have stayed longer.

Bungalow Aloha is a beautiful, peaceful sanctuary. The perfect space for a couple! We felt at home immediately and loved every minute. We didn’t want to leave. We loved it so much we’ve rebooked for next year.

Property was lovely and host Vanessa could not have been more helpful. Having a villa with a pool was wonderful and a definite staying point. The property is about 10-15 minute walk from the Marina, but uphill on the way back so would be difficult for those with mobility issues.
