It was ok

Didn't like that the twin bedroom lights didn't work The lock on cupboard in the hall was broken all our coats were locked in No lock on the main bathroom The oven and air fryer was dirty Toilet seat in the unsuite slid around when you sat on it the shower head clip is broken It could have been cleaner

Enjoyable , relaxing and comfortable

The location was pretty good as Wimdermere main town was just a short drive. And all other main attractions were also easily accessible. Extremely family friendly and the amenities provided were just great with super comfy beds.

Perhaps the lighting in the area could be better to find ur way around at night !

We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend it

The Lodge was very comfortable and clean and tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed and more for a great stay. I had left the dog at home but next time I would definitely bring her. Everywhere is so dog friendly

We all had problems with the Internet connection at the resort, but that seemed to be the same going into all the local areas and towns, connection was limited. There seemed to be limited entertainment at the resort the weekend we were there so we went back into the local towns, which were easy to get to by car or taxi. I'm sure that during the high season there would be plenty going on

Great place, would stay again.

The location was great, and the bed was comfortable. 2 parking spaces were very helpful. Fully stocked kitchen and plenty of storage space.

Unfortunately, the dishes in the cupboard were very dirty. I appreciate that people wash up and put them away. But maybe it would be worth checking cups, dishes, and cutlery before new people arrive.

No wifi and was difficult to get a signal from the lodge, but Parkdean free wifi connected as you got closer to font of the park and recreational areas

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property. Sofa bed could do with an update but was nice for 6 people and we wasn’t on top of each other

Really spacious lodge. With everything you need to make it more than comfortable. Easy access and good communication with the owner.

Some parts of the lodge need some attention especially for the price. Blinds don’t work properly most are broke. Patio doors don’t open as there was no key for them. Decking area really needs a good clean , I had to scrub the table which looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for months. Just silly little things like light bulbs needed replacing.

Disappointed with the cleanliness of the kitchen

A note was left that the washing machinenot working which was a disappointment as had bought a few outfits thinking I can wash them at the lodge as it was written that there will be a washing machine available. Was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the kitchen and appliances, pots,pansand dishes were not clean . The microwave was absolutely filthy and the oven was dirty with all crumbs ect in it... the plans for the oven were soo dirty that they were not usable. The rooms had so much cobwebs and spiders. Need to concentrate on the cleanliness. Can provide more pictures and videos as doesn't let me upload videos

Nice looked after lodge.

Extremely clean and fresh smelling throughout. The hosts provided all everyday essentials and more besides such as washing up liquid, bin bags, toilet rolls etc., all unexpected but appreciated. Short stay on our behalf but comfortable whilst in the lodge.

Lack of internet connection via a router and no signal for 4/5G. This meant we were cut off from our wider family unless we went elsewhere to try pick up signal. Whilst the owner stated the signal strength being poor, we did not expect it to be non existent.

Felt quite disappointed about the cleanliness, I would not go back to this lodge.

We stayed at Sonia’s lodge recently and were very disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance. On arrival, we had to clean the kitchen worktop ourselves due to water marks. When making up the sofa bed, we found the mattress topper badly stained, and the cupboard where the bedding and topper were stored was cluttered, making it difficult to access. While setting up the sofa bed, we also found crumbs and hairs down the sides of the sofa cushions. Under the sofa itself, we discovered socks and dominos left behind — clear signs the lodge had not been properly cleaned after previous guests. The towels also didn’t appear particularly fresh. The blinds in the living area were broken, and the blinds in the bedroom were covered in dust, adding to the overall feeling that the lodge wasn’t properly cared for. While the location was good and the owner did offer early check-in (which we couldn’t use), the overall standard was far below what we expected — especially as regular visitors to the area who have never had an issue elsewhere. I raised these concerns directly, but unfortunately the response focused more on pricing and check-in times rather than addressing the actual problems. Based on this experience, I would not choose to stay here again

Ideal location let down by cleanliness and maintenance of accommodation

Loved the location and range of things to do nearby

Felt the accommodation needed a bit of an upgrade. Looking tired in a number of areas, no light above door outside, shower in main bathroom continuously dripping, en suite not very clean and holes in base unit plus toilet seat broken. No cleaning products in lodge and mop left was mouldy and torn. Only one teaspoon yet loads of other cutlery. Cobwebs on light fittings in every room. Floors not clean. Behind couch covered in dust etc. We always leave accommodation as we find it and we were disappointed with cleanliness on arrival and lack of basic cleaning products including a decent mop. For the price we expected top quality accommodation as we have experienced in other lodges stayed in. Overpriced for standard of lodge.

Highly recommend for couples or families

This lodge was immaculate and very comfortable to stay in. Parking is right next to the lodge. Its in a great location too.

We found the edge of the bath had not been not cleaned and one broken lamp bulb. Poor internet signal but we were told about this before arrival.

Absolutely beautiful Lodge! There was nothing the owners hadn’t thought of to make our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. It’s a real home from home! The lodge is spotlessly clean and well furnished and much bigger than we expected. The outside area is lovely and the location perfect. Idyllic, as in the name!

The lodge is lovely, very clean and welcoming. It has everything you need too. The owners answered all my questions very promptly.

The facilities are too expensive within the holiday park. Check in is 4pm, which is a little late. Maybe offer an earlier check in for small additional cost
