Unterkunft ist sehr ruhige Lage, bestens für Erholung, es gibt gute Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, Inseln besuchen, Nationalpark, sehr zu empfehlen ist das Aquarium in Galway, interessant ist auch Glengowla Farm, dort gibt es eine Besicherberkwerk und Vorführung Schafe hüten. Uvm.

Das Häuschen, das abgelegen vom Trubel liegt, hat unsere Erwartungen von einem erholsamen Urlaub mehr als erfüllt. Modern ausgestattet und mit allen Annehmlichkeiten auf die man nicht ganz so verzichten möchte. Auch für kurze Spaziergänge gibt es genug Möglichkeiten: Nur max. 10Minuten braucht man bis zu einem der Bootsanlegestellen/bis zum Meer - perfekt geeignet um den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Auch für Tagestouren ist die Lage ein guter Ausgangspunkt - ca. 1Std. von Galway entfernt, 25Min. zur Anlegestelle zu den Aran Islands und ca. 1Std. von Clifden entfernt.
Die Gastegeber haben uns am ersten Tag herzlichst willkommen geheißen und uns alles im Haus erklärt. Außerdem hatten sie super Tipps, wie z.B. Restaurantempfehlungen (es gibt eine eigene App für das Häuschen, wo alles aufgelistet ist!).
Wenn wir wieder in diese Gegend von Irland kommen, dann nehmen wir auf jeden Fall wieder diese Unterkunft :)

Very modern keyless entry. Would be good to know plan B option if phones fail and cant get in using app. Cottage is very clean and well decorated. Has everything you could need and more. Beds were very comfy and cottage is comfortable for up to 5 people. The outside space has beautiful views. Host was very welcoming and the soda bread, jam, butter, milk and wine were very much appreciated after the long drive. Joe was always available and gave us great information.
Rooms were a bit small, but it is expected as it is a renovated older cottage.
