With prime location on the Coast Road, enjoy site seeing in the countrywide or a scenic trip into town. This lovely home boasts 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, sleeping up to 9 comfortably. 1 bedroom and ensuite on the ground floor. Completing this countryside cottage are a dining room and living room, both with breath taking views of the sea. The living room enjoys the complements of a solid wood burning stove as well as a television with cable and WIFI. This home also has modern conveniences such as oil heating for the comforts of a proper retreat. A great escape for a family vacation or any vacation! Was situated just right to be able to travel around and visit all the must see sites in Connemara. Road was busy at certain times but didnt distract from the peaceful area. Would definitely need a car, but plenty of parking at the house and free parking available at all visitor sites.

I loved this bright, well maintained home. It is truly a place that offers a wonderful respite. I'd have preferred a few more offerings on the tv, or at least a way to connect Netflix. The house is secluded, which is both good and somewhat of a drawback in that it's quite a way to a pub, restaurants, or a good-sized market. Knowing that in advance, I was still very happy with my stay.

The House was in a peaceful remote location right across from it you have the sea. You have all necessities in the house, from a well equipped kitchen to towels and a washingmachine. We stayed at the end of October/ beginning of November and the house was warmly heated when we arrived. The communication with our host Una was uncomplicated and the registration for the house went without problems.

Authentic and cosy cottage - next to the sea. Plenty of space (up to 9 persons can sleep here ...) - several bath rooms available; large kitchen, big refrigerator, coffee machine, and also otherwise very well equipped (... a dishwasher would however be a plus - especially if you are numberous here ...). We have spent a wonderful week in this beautiful spot of Ireland.

We are a family of 6 and we spent a week in Una's house in Rosmuc. The house is a big house with all modern facilities required for a comfortable stay. The house was immaculately clean. It is well situated so we were able to travel to all the different areas within Connemara. We enjoyed our holiday and I recommend Una's house as a great base for visiting Connemara. Martin

The house was perfect for our needs. It was spacious and comfortable and accommodated our group of hill walkers easily. The host’s brother was available to help any time and offered some great advice on local places of interest. The nearby view point in particular was spectacular.

Just has a fantastic week in this lovely property. The perfect base for our day trips to Clifden, Westport, Galway city, Aran Islands and the many beautiful beaches in Connemara. The house was spotlessly clean and fully equipped. Michael next door was lovely and friendly and gave us many tips and ideas on places to visit. Would definitely recommend this property to friends and family!

Just home from a lovely relaxing holiday. The house is in a great location ( many sights within 40-45 min drive and great scenery all around) and is well equipped. We especially loved lighting the fire in the evening. We were a group of 4 adults and 3 kids and found that there was plenty of space. Una was very responsive when I had questions and her brother Michael who lives next door was very helpful. Would definitely recommend and return again.

We arrived without getting lost, following owner instructions, to find that the cottage is both warm and very well laid out. The rooms are spacious, well fitted and the kitchen was a pleasure in which to cook. It is clear that this cottage has been restored and maintained with great care and attention to detail in this beautiful setting. As we have been to Connemara a number of times we decided to stay very local this time. The area has many inland waterways, old cottages and fantastic stone walls. The little side roads, as pointed out by next neighbour Michael, ensured that we had great walking and we arrived at coastal stretches that are away from the main roads and also at a high up lookout point where we could see 360 deg. of scenery - amazing. Arriving back to a warm cottage in the evening we relaxed and listened to music. A cottage of a very high standard and in a location that gives easy access to all the tourist points we will return. Next time I will bring my water colours and enjoy some painting. A big thank you to the owner and well done. 5 stars would be our rating. K&G

The rooms are spacious, well fitted and the kitchen was a pleasure in which to cook. It is clear that this cottage has been restored and maintained with great care and attention to detail in this beautiful setting. As we have been to Connemara a number of times we decided to stay very local this time. The area has many inland waterways, old cottages and fantastic stone walls.
