It’s was very relaxing and comfortable. Spacious and cozy apartment. Friendly host and was great to give us guides and places to visit. Ideal for people who want to stay in peace and quiet location.
Mattress wouldn’t be that comfortable to sleep.

The moment you begin the drive to the entrance of Cleggan Farm, you know you have arrived somewhere magic. The privacy, the tranquility, the rustic charm, the straightforward instructions, the warm welcome and the amazing scenery of the hills, Atlantic and wildlife and beautiful ponies. It's taken me a while to leave a review purely because I didn't want to leave Cleggan and accepting I am back in reality has been a challenge when you have found somewhere that felt so much like home.
The property itself, I stayed in Wren, has all you need and more which for a solo explorer like me with hand luggage only was very reassuring. It is clean, comfortable and probably the best equipped kitchen ever.
Any questions I had, or help needed, was always welcomed by Josephine host who is lovely.
Not that I didn't like it, it's personal preference but I found the bed very hard, but still welcomed after a long day exploring.

The cottages have been converted out of old farm buildings in a tasteful way, keeping quite a lot of character. The location is beautiful, and very peaceful: one could just step outside and let the silence seep into one. There is beautiful countryside just on one's own doorstep.
A freezer compartment in the frig would have been good, though Josephine was willing to put food into her freezer if we had asked for this.
