This getaway was a little piece of heaven. You are off the grid and in nature. Don't worry you can still pick up 4G, if you really need it. I think its as far west as I have been. You can see for miles. The fire was lit and the house was lovely. There is severval perfect beaches near by. We were able to bring our dog and I was able to bring her to the pier for a dip before venturing out each day. The garden is secure so she was able to run around outside. We went to the local Denny's Ferry pub (5 minute walk), the locals were so welcoming wanting us to stay on and share our craic. We were also very lucky and got some fantastic weather. Also if you turn right outside the house and follow the road to the end you are at the waters edge (2/3 minute walk) This is a really lovely part of Ireland. Magicial in fact.
I can't fault this place. Deborah needs to put up some new pictures as the ones online do not do it any justice. The pin drop for the house is not really accurate and the picture shows it as a cream/pink house but it is actually a light green. (Turn right at the crossroad - post box in front off you and its the 3/4th house down on the right - if you hit the pub turn back up to the crossroads turn left and 3/4th house on the right).

The cottage was in a beautiful spot, scenery was amazing. We arrived to a lovely fire lit. There is a nice walk to the pier and you pass the local pub on the way. Portacloy beach is about 10 mins away by car.
Cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. Lovely secure garden for the dog. Deborah has the place lovely and welcoming.

Cosy cottage with everything that you need beautiful spot with brilliant views
Been asked for a extra 70 euros because she said that the price was wrong on booking.com....we stayed 3 nights owners we very present...putting in and out hens and sheep and cutting the lawn etc.we couldn't lock the front door even when we left the house or went to bed
